Wonder if we will go a bit stronger now we've had a bit of rest. Need to keep some momentum for the likes of Maddison. Hands are tied at Centre back and striker though so we don't have too much choice.

I think JJ had another setback didn’t he? I think JJ comes back first, as Fofana isn’t due back until early February.

Seen a few clips of the lad on game coverage and interviews and from his temperament I can tell this will totally **** him off

I think the only one of the injured players with a chance of returning for this would be Bertrand but he won't add anything to the squad at all.

Suggestion here is he didn't want to go anyway and be a squad player but who knows.

As others have said, in the Africa's Cup...However, it is interesting in that I don't think there is a squad limit in January, is there? I mean, we could play an over-21 player from the U23 squad in the Premier League, couldn't we? I can't think of anyone but Josh Eppiah that firs that, though.
