Who knows what kind of photos you guys would have taken (not saying guaranteed anyone would have taken any photos that weren't meant to, but they can't check that really). Least with Maddison they can .

They can’t keep tabs on their day to day social media use and the same rule won’t apply to them as players. 

 

Not saying I didn’t agree with the rule when we were there and everyone on the tour was more than happy to comply but it makes a bit of mockery of a rule to

not take photos for danger of leaking something important when the players have greater access and following than we do and can just chuck videos up here and there.

Guys it’s clearly been checked by the club. If you pause on the analysis room vid all the data has been scrambled. As intelligent as he sounds in interviews he’s not thought of that on his own

What you talking about? I'm almost certain that the club (along with every other top flight team in the world) have someone who's employed solely to deal with the clubs social media presence and monitor that of the players.

I imagine if the club had a problem with that video showing the training ground it would have been pulled by now. 
 

I do find our fans behaviour towards Maddison a bit strange at times, he seems like a nice enough lad

People finding reasons to dislike him … I cant find it in me. He’s;

a) delivering on the pitch

b) not shagging an underage bird. 
 

and importantly why waste your time? He ain’t going to change. Would you react to Youri, Kasper or Vardy doing it?

It’s easy to hate on young rich people but, let’s face it, if I was 20 and had that kind of fame/money I’d be injecting crack into my eyeballs and I’d own a tiger. X

The club like any organisation these days would have a clear and tight social media policy for all employees. 
There is no way anyone will be allowed to post anything around the training ground or match day without the approval of the club.

He's not always on TV doing interviews. 

 

He has a very active social media profile which believe it or not he is allowed. So does Fofana who's actually really flashy on there too, but doesn't even get a fraction of the stick Maddison unfairly gets (I'd obviously rather neither got any stick, as opposed to Fofana getting more).

I hate these type of comments. Just because they get paid a lot of money, it doesn’t mean you can just play every other day while avoiding injuries and playing to the same high standard. 
 

They are highly skilled athletes doing a job which 99.999% of the population couldn’t do. You can’t compare what they do to a warehouse worker etc.

I just hope Maddison can keep fit as he is on top form and we are going to need him more than ever over the coming weeks. Given the challenges he has had with injuries and family commitments he definitely deserves our total support. His ‘now you see it now you don’t’ turns are a highlight for me and he doesn’t seem to be dwelling on the ball so much now. Well done madders.
