LFox99 Posted 27 May 2022 Posted 27 May 2022 (edited) I dont expect there to be much movement anyway until the 14th of June. Everyone is away on international duty right now and the window doesn't open for another couple of weeks (obviously we can still get work done during that time) Edited 27 May 2022 by LFox99
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 29 May 2022 Posted 29 May 2022 (edited) Brugge are going to sign CDK's replacement in Ferran Jutgla who plays for Barcelona B and scored 19 goals last season. He's going for around about 6 million euros. Edited 29 May 2022 by CrispinLA in Texas 1 1

tsintskaro Posted 29 May 2022 Posted 29 May 2022 (edited) This positions is not priority so if we splash this much money on him, it means Nacho is gone I mean this looks like a weird business. Vardy gets old and Daka is not reliable. Not a huge fan of Nacho, but it will be stupid to say he was not crucial often in last 2 season High risk, high reward i hope Edited 29 May 2022 by tsintskaro 1

I mean theyre under no obligation to replace outgoings like for like. As Ive mentioned the other day in this thread already, as well as signing that kid from Barca B, theyre looking around further attacking options. I'd say its basically guaranteed that CDK leaves this summer. Noah Lang off, coach and his staff gone - Martinez mentioned his environment and needing consistency but at this rate he might as well move to another club seeing as little is going to be left at Brugge when the new season starts. With Milan looking like Lang's destination and them already having signed Origi, I dont really see how CDK fits in there for consistent minutes. 1

The problem is that with Iheanacho, despite some people saying his control is poor or he looks ungainly, he undoubtedly score goals from poaching, outside the box or heading. He's a knack of sometimes just being in the right place at the right time or sometimes making something out of nothing. Contrast with Perez who looks skilful and can demonstrate neat footwork and can be deceptively easy on the eye and well ... the goals and assists tally over 3 years has been poor. Sometimes it's as basic as being able to have an end product, however you achieve it and scoring goals. The stats would show that games to appearances, Iheanacho can undoubtedly do that and particularly did so when Vardy was misfiring. I think it would be a very poor move to get rid of him and would be a very Rodgers thing to do because whatever the reason, Rodgers has been so dismissive of him, it must have really wrankled when due to having no other choices, he became our top scorer and effectively saved Rodgers bacon. Nevertheless, he still didn't start him this season. We should be playing to his strengths, not getting rid. Edited 30 May 2022 by volpeazzurro 6

If we adapted our game for that it may work but we still rely on Vardy’s movement off the CB’s, whilst hoping Daka learns from him as he has the raw ingredients which Kelechi sadly doesn’t. I like Kelechi but if we can get 30m for him and bring in CDK it may work out well in the long run? 5
ronnup Posted 30 May 2022 Posted 30 May 2022 I need De Katelare and Dewsbury -Hall in the same team. We'd be deciding matches by a duel
Dusty Posted 30 May 2022 Posted 30 May 2022 Been pointed out by Milan fans that you can’t buy a CDK or Lang shirt on the Brugge website anymore. Presume Lang is going to Milan but interesting that CDK is no longer available either.

StriderHiryu Posted 30 May 2022 Posted 30 May 2022 Looks like Milan might be signing him and Noa Lang. Hard to compete with them if they are in for him, and they are newly flushed after winning the Scudetto. 2 1

If that's genuine we should be getting this done asap. We were concretely linked in January and quoted 40m.
