There’s a rumour that we’ve finally found our mahrez replacement…. mahrez

Probably our last season before falling to obscurity…. screw it, make it happen!

He didn't like it here the first time around, he definitely won't now

There isn't an actual rumour - just somebody being silly on twitter. It's not going to happen.

The tweet quotes mailonline but there was nothing on there.  This was originally on social media during the transfer window and clearly a wind up.  It includes ngolo too!

neither player is affordable on wages alone ! They are both contracted till 2026 at least. No point wasting any time on wind ups

I mean this source has no substance whatsoever but thinking about why would they even consider a return.

they are the two players that arguably without the gamble that we took on both neither will have ended up with the honours they have achieved. I don’t believe Mahrez was being tracked by anyone, even us, was Walsh over there looking at someone else? Kante I believe was being tracked but many were put off by his on the ball abilities.

So principle wise, I could see why they might look at us, for one last EPL hurrah, but financially and lifestyle wise neither make any sense.

One that we can dream about.

I can’t see Mahrez camping out at Jeddah airport until he gets a move to Leicester

Wouldn't want the little cvnt back anyway. He has no respect for the club. Still bitching like we had kidnapped him or something.

Wasn't moaning when he signed his two life changing contracts with us that changed his life when no one else was interested in him was he.

My gosh. You were definitely one of the ones who booed him weren't youlol. Seeing what i have seen of the joke of our board since has left, i am fairly confident they offered him false promises for when he can leave and accepting offers etc. Add to the fact he is one of if not the most talented players we have ever had as well as being one of the main reasons we WON the premier league AND all of the trophies he has won since he has left, i see why he acted the way he did

No I would not boo him and respect him as being one of our greatest players.

But as a person he's an ungrateful disrespectful cvnt. No need to keep bringing it up.

I see this a good option. He is better than what we've got and is a very low risk loan. If he wants to come back, or is more than open to the idea, at least he will want to play for the club with a little more passion.

Personally, I don't hold grudges, so on paper it's a good decision. However, I do understand peoples views against it

Why's that then?

As much as I doubt the source, the ironic thing is that Chilwell would actual be good for Cooper considering he wants at least one of his full-backs to be a great athlete who can get high to support in the build-up/attack.
