I echo this, a really exciting player and would immediately be our biggest goal threat. 

 

Nelson, Vuskovic, Okoli, Vestergaard (reluctantly) & Souttar suddenly would look really strong for a problem area.

If we can ship Faes out and with Souttar supposedly injured for a while, I’ve said it numerous times in recent months, getting in a loan from the Premier League would be smart. 
 

A few young prospects have already gone elsewhere, but if those reports are true and Vuskovic is available, he’d definitely be in my top three choices for a potential loan.

Nah.  Unless he wants to be 2nd choice.  I think most of us want to see Nelson and Okoli partnered.  There's no good reason to disrupt that with a loan player we don't even get to keep a hold of.  So if he came in as cover for those 2 ahead of Vesty and Faes, forgetting Souttars return, then possibly, but seems a signing that would cause more problems than solve.  Unless his arrival helped kick some others out the door!  Then I'll take 2 please...

Vuskovic on loan... Yep, I'd snap their hand off if the money is palatable. He may not be ready for Spurs in the Premier League but he'd be fantastic in the Championship. Exactly what we need tbh.

I read the article, it was a load of guesswork. No one would have been interested in Abdul prior to that game the other day, club scouts aren't that short sighted. I promise we've got nothing to worry about with him!

Nobody is going to pay the money we'd want and I don't think he'd be the type to force a move just yet.

 

I would be willing to bet my house that he'll stay for this season.

Vuskovic is ridiculous on the ball for a centreback but also very shaky defensively.

 

Probably good enough for us in the championship but might as well stick with Okoli or Aluko in a pairing with Nelson as they're good enough anyways.

In other seasons this would be a sensible signing - could be a Tony Cottee, or at the very least a Kevin Phillips. But we have too many players past their peak already - unless we can move BDCR and Ayew on, I'd pass on this.

Tony was 32 when he signed for us, Kevin was 40... bit unfair to lump Tony in this bucket.

Birmingham could well be in the Prem in a year or two, might not be the nosedive it sounds today!
