Lille and Leicester City are both in advanced negotiations with Queens Park Rangers (QPR) over the signing of Algerian striker Rayan Kolli, according to exclusive reports from Africafoot.

The 20-year-old forward, who holds Algerian, English, and French nationalities, came through QPR’s academy and has been on Lille’s radar for several months. Leicester City, currently competing in the English Championship, have more recently joined the race to secure his signature.

Kolli’s market value is currently estimated at €1.5 million, according to Transfermarkt. He has made a bright start to the new season, scoring on his debut in the EFL Cup and making three appearances in the Championship.

Alves out Kolli in???

It’s a massive no from me. We should never go near big frizzy hair ever again.

It probably is the hair, but something makes me think we should avoid

Might be nothing in it, but interesting to see that recent striker links are more Target men types of players.

He's exactly what we need, so it won't happen.

We need presence, energy and a bit of X factor in the midfield. Hamer and quality forward would see us jump immediately from being playoff also-rans to genuine title contenders.

Just think he's out of our budget and he probably needs to be pushing for top flight football at this point in his career. If he can't get it in the Prem, he should be looking at Spain, Germany and Italy. He's too good to be ****ing around in the Championship again.

Hamer and Solomon on loans and a marquee striker. Can you imagine.

Solomon on loan is ****ing vile - get ****ed if you think otherwise.

Keep politics away from football.  He’s hardly gone and raped someone or fiddled kids.

All this vitriol towards Solomon; had he advocated the Israeli attacks on Palestine? Genuinely not looked into him.

I’m guessing peoples problem is he himself doesn’t keep politics out of football and publicly backs what is happening over there… including him being banned from Instagram for what he said about the bombing of children in a hospital… (not sure if he is banned still, I don’t have any socials, just remember the story)

He’s a good player, but I understand why some people don’t want to cheer him on. Him and Hamza would be an interesting dressing room…

From what I can see, he posted a few pro-Israel memes and whatnot soon after October 7th. Probably no more outrageous than an American footballer posting in support of American troops and his country in November 2001. It won't age well  but you can understand it.

From what I can see of his Insta, this is pretty much the only vaguely political post still on there and I don't see it as especially unreasonable.

Just not going to be the right fit I'm afraid if Hamza is staying. Recipe for disaster. Just leave it alone.

For me, that would be on Hamza rather than Solomon. There's nothing in the latter's career that suggests he's unprofessional.
