Effort I thought on Wednesday was superb but quality on the ball as a whole was poor, same effort today and improvement in quality on the ball and we win the game. I just hope they aren’t still thinking of the spurs game!

Crap atmosphere.

Most fans will be wishing they were at home or at the pub.

Players will be mentally drained from Wednesday  epic f0ck up and be full of negativity.

0-2

It's shit when making the effort to attend games feels like a chore but that's where I'm at today.

Anybody had any luck watching on Peacock via a VPN? I see they’re broadcasting. I’m happy to spend money to get a decent quality stream. I’ve not got a VPN at the minute, but happy to buy one again if this works.

I tried DAZN a few months ago and that wouldn’t let me register because I didn’t have a card registered to a foreign address. ‘Hes’ is a bit temperamental

Wow, I’m a pessimist all the time but even after all these years I love going to watch us. The not knowing which lcfc will show up is all part of the rollercoaster that is our club! I was fuming Wednesday night but then I think back to losing a 3-1 lead at boro in added time. I’d rather be where we are today than then.

cheer up it ain’t that bad :scarf:

Tense start. Both teams start well in a hotly contested first half.Maupay sneeks a lead for Brighton against the run of play. We come out fast second half and grab a well deserved equaliser. Epic end to end match as lookman scores winner in last five minutes. Crowd in full voice as those who watched at home or down the pub wish they had gone to the match.

Same crystal ball different eyes. Only thing we can contribute to is a fun positive atmosphere.

I think the response will speak volumes today. If we're able to put in a good - great  level performance after what happened the other day that will mean good management. Let's hope they are embarrassed and ashamed for the fans and do everything to put it right.

Hello again! I'm done with three days of staring into the mid distance while Fortunate Son plays in the back of my mind. Matchday!

For what it's worth, Brighton won't sit deep like Spurs did - we've never been able to deal with low blocking teams - ever. We couldn't cope with their counter, regardless of their lack of pace. Regardless of the embassarring way in which we capitulated, our lead on Wednesday was the very definition of sh*thouse - two scrappy goals against the run of play while our own defensive third resembled a combination of the Alamo and the Führerbunker at times.

Should be a different game entirely, and one I think will benefit us. I expect us to have a far greater foothold on midfield this time around. Youri can't possibly play any worse... right?

I'm scared this is the one game where Brighton figure out how to score. Depending on the defence this could be unpleasant.

Fingers crossed for a win, or at least a point and not a loss after winning with 12 seconds left.

If Brendan starts Vestertwat, he should be sacked on the spot. We'd be better sticking Danny Ward in CB.

Given that Brighton aren't  the sharpest shooters.  I'd like to see Brunt given a go n a 4-man defence, probably partnering Amartey and give Soy a rest and some perspective from the bench.  Bit of a gamble, but we need some experimentation rather than resorting to Westergaard and the back 5 again.
