Angus Scott Posted 8 February 2022 Posted 8 February 2022 For a start 2 centre halfs who are brave & can head the ball
Ric Flair Posted 9 February 2022 Posted 9 February 2022 Ben Cabango at Swansea looks like the sort of centre half who'd fit our way of playing. 1

ScrumpyJack Posted 9 February 2022 Posted 9 February 2022 A couple of quality centre backs and we’ll be decent, Tarkowski and Cabango could be great signings. Biggest job for the summer will be offloading the surplus. I reckon we’re stuck with Vestergaard assuming he’s on 60K+, will end up being another Perez situation. Haven’t written Soumare off yet - hopefully we’ll see something from him soon! If he doesn’t work out, maybe we should stop buying French midfielders. Not everyone can be Kante or Nalis.

I think (like many players from other leagues) this season is him adjusting to the pace/rigour of the Prem League. I haven't written him off at all - just taking some time (fingers crossed) to get used to it.
escape2victory Posted 10 February 2022 Posted 10 February 2022 From recent reports and speculation, is the summer rebuild starting to take shape Castagne or Ricardo - Juranovic Amartey - Tarkowski Perez - De Ketelaere Tielemans - ? Soyuncu - ?

An Sionnach Posted 10 February 2022 Posted 10 February 2022 Nobody in contract will leave for less money, that has to be understood.
Foxes96 Posted 10 February 2022 Posted 10 February 2022 Saw something that Shlotterbeck could be available for 16m in the summer. Should definitely be looking at him at that price. Him and Ginter and Witsel and we’re halfway there already. Add in Berardi and Blas and Ramsay and flog as much dead wood as we can and we’re looking good. I’m undoubtedly way off it though 2

Goal scoring striker's who can score in the EPL are hard to come by, some make it others don't, we wouldn't have won the FA cup without Iheanacho's goals in the FA cup campaign last season
Stadt Posted 10 February 2022 Posted 10 February 2022 Tete. 21,Left footed, Brazilian right winger at Shakthar. 25 goals in 49 90s in the Ukrainian league. A bit greedy perhaps but certainly has a lot of raw ability. https://fbref.com/en/players/7120a04d/Tete https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tete/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/371256/plus/0?saison=2021&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=UKR1&pos=&trainer_id= 1

Yes he is slightly a bit greedy but there was another Right Winger here that you could say the same thing about but he was some player too. He will get people off their seats, he looks like he can play on his own.

They have 2 other left footed right wingers and seem set to cash in on Tete but I think they know it'll be a try before you buy given there's always concerns about whether players coming from the Ukraine league will be as good as they appear. 1

He looks so balanced and all his skills are done with body movements which normally translate to other leagues. We should definitely be looking at him. 1

We look at players being picked up for pennies and wonder why we were not part of trhat argument, we need to go for it. If it means getting Berardi and him for a combined £40m then by all means, go for it. 1
