Harry was /is a limited player ,that United panic bought after he ,more or less ,starred in the world cup.

Everyone knows we had uniteds pants down on that deal.

Wes is one of the best prospects for a long time and ,if he is to be sold, we have to make Chelsea or whoever else wants him, pay a ridiculous price.

He could, based on age ,be a pivotal player for a top side for years and would be top value for money ,if he stays for 10 years or more.

If Liverpool sold VVD now ,what would they get?

At least their money back and he's 31.

He will still be top class for at least 5 years and that ,to a money club, would be money well spent.

Except VVD is not coming back after a very severe leg break. Don't underestimate that. If he get's through a full season maybe. But what if he doesen't.?

You can just hear many on here say we should have taken the money.

Wow. How are you that negative?

I may be very wrong of course, but sometimes with age and experience, you can smell a rotten egg a mile off, particularly when also acknowledging the comments of other teams supporters. At first things look like sour grapes but then when things start to develop similarly to what they describe, due regard has to be taken. He's conforming to type.

You've said you're incredibly biased and you've called Rodgers 'poison'. I don't think you've got any morale high ground with 'age and experience' because of how biased you've claimed to be lol

Get him gone. 85M invest it all into 2/3 players. He doesn’t want to be here or he wouldn’t posting things on social media.

Great idea, get him gone and get in two or three extra players to further increase the wage bill and further bloat the squad!

We’ve just lost Kasper and saved us over 100k a week. We need to freshen it up. No point in having unhappy players here.

FFP is flawed in favor of the bigger clubs. How are smaller Clubs to ever close the gap if the financial weighting is against them.

It would be better if the bigger clubs were restricted in some way to give smaller clubs a chance to level up and make the league more competitive. Instead of the same few clubs winning it every years, us being the exception.

Yeah- let’s bring in the draft like the NFL!

It’s not that, we’ve got about 28 first team players and we can’t have that many registered in the team. So we’re likely to have some players on big wages sat around doing Jack.

How do you know he’s unhappy? Do you know him personally?

I absolutely agree, I have no moral high ground whatsoever. You can be older and incredibly stupid at the same time 🤣.

I only evaluate by what I see on the pitch, what Rodgers himself says and also some of what past Liverpool and Celtic supporters have commented.

We'll just have to see what state we're in when he leaves and what he achieves in his future, only time can tell.

You can't live forever off past success. Didn't help Claudio did it ? Rodgers has not done a good job for over a year now,

except of  course the whole reason we are in the predicament we are in is because we already have too many players

Nasty tactics used by Chelsea.... they've really unsettled Wes and he got his head turned now

Social media and his stupid comments. I’d love to keep him he’s a great player but we don’t need players throwing a wobble

He’s not having a wobble. We’re having the wobble. He’s a young lad jerking our chins and having a laugh. Calm down, calm down.

We need to be strong like when ManU offered us 60m for Maguire and we turned it down, said we wanted 80m......a year later they pay us 80m.

As someone else mentioned here before, West Ham said they want a minimum 150m for Declan Rice.....which stopped top 6 teams in trying to poach him.

80m is peanuts, we should be saying 150m let's talk

If you're over the age of 17 and reading too deeply into anyones social media, you probably need to get off and go for a walk or something

If he goes because the club have recieved a bid they feel is adequate, then fine but if he ends up going because he's kicked up a fuss then that's 2 fingers up to the club and the fans, as he only signed a new long term contract a few months ago. Why accept a new deal with a massive payrise if you plan on leaving a few months later. He could stay for one more season and literally have the pick of any team in the world rather than going to Chelsea now, who are unlikely to win anything anyway and have also tried signing 3 or 4 other centre backs before they went for Fofana. Chelsea are miles behind Man c and Liverpool and are miles behind several European teams in terms of the champions league.

The times today reports thst we are to he decimated.    Time for top to put a stop.  Its not just about ambition... its about pl survival.  If things get hard rodgers will play the blame game.  I see evans having another season of injuries (why is he still playing for northern irelsnd?)

We have players rodgers doesnt want... and wont fix ... yet no room for lookmam.  Watfords sarr should have neen our rw last year.

Top needs to show strong leadership now.

Its a pretty nonsense article.  Newcastle apparently not willing to pay for Maddison let alone Barnes as well, and if we sell Fofana we will be a very long way from cash strapped.
