The trouble is the hinting of a summer rebuild is unsettling for the players surely. Yes some clearly want out (Youri, Cags) but is it a threat to others to ship up or ship out? Not great for confidence building.

There's a difference between "hoping" the players are hurting and them being visibly upset. Suggests the primadonnas don't care

Today was the first game in a long, long while that I question the players themselves and their motivation to play for the club and manager. Prior to this, for all our furore, the players still seemed desperate to sort it out and they seemed to still be trying. Today though was astonishing, I don't think they'll live this down. It's the worst defeat I can remember in years, I hope the manager and some of these players never represent us again.

They don't need to motivate themselves. The manager has spoken about us probably peaking and overachieving. Why over exert yourselves for the bloke?

Mendy and Praet wanted to stay and play but constantly were over looked for players out of form.  Now he has pushed them out he is left with players wanting out. Morale cannot be great in that dressing room.  I know people scoff about dressing room friendships but Cags hasn't quite been the same since Under left and Timmy is potentially being left without Praet and now Youri. It is a big thing when they communicate in their own language, cultures are different and families socialise too.  Brendan is not handling things well.......

All very well talking about a clearout Brendan you fraud but you need teams to want to take your players first, who is going to pay the money we need for the pile of shite we are seeing week in week out at the moment, can’t just click your fingers and magically move players on you dickhead.

If we keep selling top players to the bigger teams then we will never get that same team spirit we had back when we won the league imo.

 

We need players who want to play for the team long term not looking for the next big move or there final pay day.

Basically need some smart and sensible replacements for Youri, Soyuncu, Ndidi, Kasper and RWer. Those four sales would bring in at least £100m so there’s a start.

This man joined the club to build a 'long-term project' yet after only 3 years he wants a massive overhaul of the squad? What does that say about how he's coaching these players and the recruitment that he's overseen? Seems to me that he's failed with what he tried to achieve and is being carried by the individual quality of the players that he's questioning.
