Never said I owned them. But when the team don’t give a shit, why should we? I feel it says a lot about our lads mindsets.

So because they’ve had a few drinks together it means they don’t give a shit? Did no fans go pub after the game?

Wait, people are more concerned about it going on social media, than actually having the party itself lol lol

There's another problem...

Not really, I’m prepared to accept that players can blow off steam after a bad day at work, but flaunting themselves partying on social media after yesterday is so incredibly tone deaf it’s insulting.

Mate you sound like one of those people who defend Boris. 'Yeh but i saw two people on the bus without a mask on, how dare these rule breakers attack our dear Boris!!'

Premier league footballers are in the public eye and responsible for the mood swings of 10,000s of people who pay them millions of pounds a year. every week. Whether thats right or wrong, they are. I am not. With that comes an extra level of responsibility, its not 'only a job' despite what some pathetic comments earlier in this thread state.

Yeah it is just a job.

Like someone has already said. Why have these tits got a day off today? Even if they don't do any actual training they should be made to watch yesterday's game back.

Hamza and ward will hopefully get moved on in the summer anyway.

To be honest after my manager had set us up to fail and then blamed us, I'd be well up for getting smashed and forgetting about that.

Hamzah loves a beer doesn't he, I swear he's always at these gatherings lol

Big Dan was apparently invited but Wardy uninvited him after that back pass.

Think this is the thing. A party till 5am tbh I can't get angry about. They're human, free time, do what you want and you can't be beholden to other people's thoughts. We are not to say what the players should do on their own clock.

However, the people in that room should have some awareness that there are players of a team who just got smacked around by their local rivals. It's naïve, tone deaf and just plain daft to publish anything about it on social media. It's going to be picked up and people will be pissed off. Surely the group can have a party without the need to broadcast it on Insta?

Hamza didn't even get on despite playing well at CB vs Watford and spurs. How long is he meant to put his life on hold for because his team mates are useless, gutless fuchers.

James Justin was the only one to play with any fight and spirit. So why should he have his night off ruined?

Leaving the reserve Goalie and personally I couldn't give a flying Fuch how he spends his time as long as it isn't in goal for the first team again any time soon.

For the people saying that they do the same after a hard day at work, you also do not earn £80,000 per week. Partying after getting battered by our local rivals really does not sit well with me.

Ignoring it is the biggest problem. If you don't think there's a mentality issue in the squad and this is a demonstration of that I'm suprised.

There's varying degrees of stupidity from the players here - firstly doing it and secondly putting it on social media (or allowing someone else to).

Yes they've had a bad day and going out and having a few drinks is some people's way of coping but it's hardly a very clever one particularly as they play again on Thursday.

Secondly, putting it on social media only adds fuel to the fire. Everyone has a right to a private life but this is beyond dumb. Either they've done it deliberately to say they don't care or they're ****ing stupid.

Rodgers is right, top players have a different mentality and this goes onto demonstrate why they don't have it. The players are too comfortable at the club and think they can get away with it.

The whole they've had a bad day it's a job is a ridiculous line. If you'd ****ed up at work the smart thing to do would not be to go out get bladdered and let your employers see that. People are rightly angry.

Exactly, so you're more worried it went on social media than anything else?

Haven't seen the video but anyone know the occassion? You can't cancel a planned party because a football result doesn't go your way.

Myself and a few others mentioned this earlier too.

Going out drinking until the early hours is not an ideal way to prepare for our next game in 3 days time. Both alcohol and reduced sleep will impact the bodies recovery mechanism, hence elite athletes don't go out on the piss leading up to major sporting events. And yes I'm that boring ****er at a party before anyone comments.

I just don't even care anymore. Bad, isn't it?

I'm more annoyed at the social media videos of them throwing up peace signs and pulling duck pouts.

It's not the second hand embarrassment I needed first thing on a Monday. Cringeworthy stuff.
