Man Utd chief scout Jim Lawler leaving at the end of the season. According to GNev on twitter just now, he has been margianalised for years. so not sure many of their signings can actually be attributed to him. 

 

Been with them for 16 years, plenty of pedigree within that time if not recently. 

 

Might be an interesting option.

Absolutely, might at least bring in a few tough nuts like West Ham have with Soucek and Coufal. I'm convinced that's our missing piece as much as a right winger, something to balance out the flair.

 

I'm sure he's a few years of a job at our level, but he'd be an interesting prospect. Very knowledgable and a good speaker, and I imagine he's got a great black book of contacts built up from his career.
