Seems to have the awareness to punch passes through the lines, breaking any press, gets around well, and has pace. His passing and ability on the ball look good so I can see why they would be asking £30m.

Best way to describe his performance last season would be a worse Cags.

He's got the physical attributes to be a great defender but his mind was just constantly switched off

ha - if he feels that he is supported, appreciated and loved  by the coach then he is more than capable of handling a top four CB role.  especially with top quality players around him.

Cags has been iffy since the Callum Wilson Bournemouth meltdown 19/20. Season after he was mostly either injured or coming back from injury, and then last season after an encouraging start completely fell away and ended up below Amartey in the CB pecking order.

 

I don't think Under has alot to do with it, and it's a strange excuse for him if it is.

It just feels weird. He was a revelation at first. A genuine cult figure too. The drop off seems odd. Unless of course he just isn’t quite as good as we all thought.
