PNM Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 Not bad after conceding. Also, how is Kevin’s left foot better than everyone else’s preferred foot.

Mendy had been excellent, truly awful that Rodgers left him out of the squads for the first half of the season. I Rodgers defence i think they expected Mendy to be leaving hence why he was left out the squad. 3

We can only get away with that if we have a striker who will run in behind who Mads can feed but with Nacho coming short, Maddison is getting the ball with nothing on for him. Had no issue with Maddison coming deeper after the horrific start, if only to establish a bit of possession and take the sting out of the game a bit.

I assume they thought benko would come good!

He’s been constantly dropping back to get the ball and linking up with lots of great one-twos? He was on the ball loads and was at the centre of most of our good play this half. If you think he’s been crap that’s your opinion, but are you watching a different game to say he’s been absent and disinterested? He’s been involved loads. Edited 13 March 2022 by Sampson 14
Guest Mee-9 Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 Would love to see Daka and Nacho up top together causing a few problems.

Dusty Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 It was a poor start, would be 0-0 if it wasn’t from 2 mistakes at the corner, but that’s football sometimes. Been the better team since the goal but lacking creativity. Maddison and kel usually get in eachothers way but today they’ve been so far apart that it’s meant kel has been so isolated. Madders has come deep to get the ball which has meant progression up the pitch has been a slow build up but we’re making some nice passing patterns. Think we’ve defended quite well as a unit. There seems to be a new aggression to try and block every shot they have which is nice. Their defence is really solid, it’s going to take some really good attacking play to beat them and not sure we’ve got that in us. But while it’s only 1-0 we’re still in it. Come on foxes 🦊

Sunbury Fox Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 Neat and tidy from us but we just don't take enough shots in games. 2
don_danbury Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 do arsenal always play like this? look good for 20 mins then just defend their lead if they have one. they seem really boring under arteta to me 1
LinekersLugs Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 25 mins to be proud of at the end of the half ! believe 2
Jobyfox Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 Prediction for 2nd half: Leicester equalise Brendan brings N’didi and Vestergaard on to hold on to draw Go to 5 at the back Arsenal score winner from set piece in 94th minute Picture of Arsenal squad posing in dressing after game appears on social media The end 1 1
coolhandfox Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 Zonal, man marking does matter if players make mistakes. Thomas totally misjudging the corner.

Grebfromgrebland Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 Slow starts are costing us so many points this season. Makes it worse when we tend to play so well after 20 minutes but we've already more or less lost the game. 3

FoxyJim1987 Posted 13 March 2022 Posted 13 March 2022 First few mins we were lucky to not be 2 or 3 down but calmed the game down and Barnes and Albrighton look dangerous. Miss Vards though. I think we will score today and get a draw.
