Agreed. Looks like 19/20 Soyuncu so far today. Has won the ball every time he has charged out from the defensive line for the first time in ages.

I'd imagine having Forfana and Evans breathing down his neck may have something to do with this.

1977-  Doncaster away.

We were never comfortable in any game in 77/78. :(

Credit to Iheanacho in that half, this is the best I’ve seen him as a lone striker.

Just a shame our style of play seldom creates chances for the striker, they are literally there just to create space for others.

Come out quick after the break and kill the game with another. If we do that then we could finish with a hatful.

cannot see them not making changes to try and contain our midfield because at the minute they are letting play through them at will.

credit to Papy, really running the show

Brentford have not contested the midfield so Ndidi's ball winning qualities not missed. Mendy has better ball control and is a very tidy passer of the ball - ideal for this game. Given he wasn't even in the squad first half of the season he's been outstanding today. Expect an adjustment from them second half but we must push on and get that third goal to kill the game. Two outstanding goals to savour but the job's not done yet. Only slight sour note - Kasper's distribution has been shocking regularly gifting them cheap possession.

Still worry Tielemans form. Very quiet first half.

He is linking a lot.  He is.unfussily moving the ball on.  He's having a good game

I'm so happy to see Castagne back

Such a solid player when fit, I don't know why we let Preat go same kind of attitude on the pitch and solid all round.

Agreed, I'm still hopeful we'll have him back after his loan. The next generation of Albrightons, solid and dependable. Every decent squad needs them.
