The moment the title win was confirmed was incredible and I wouldn't swap it for anything.

But as it was nothing we could affect as a fanbase and as a club, I prefer to think that the defining title-winning action was Wes' equalising header at Old Trafford :scarf::wub:

I remember a crucial piece of defending in that game that was almost as significant. Simpson v Lingard - if he doesn't stop him, he's through on goal one to one with Kasper and of course, there's not comparison in pace. Picks up the ball just into our half on the counter, as he's about to pull the pin, Simpson does just enough to get his body in the way, interrupt his flow and dispossess him. A very decisive and well timed, brave intervention which had it have been poorly executed would have likely resulted in a straight red as the last man.

Always annoyed me that to the big 6 bells our defining title winning moment was 'the battle of the bridge'. It wasn't.

Yeah media often refers to Hazard's goal as 'the goal that won Leicester the league'

Er....we won the league by 10 points and would have won it on our own terms in the very next match?

I think for me it was the night after the 2-2 with West Brom. A good performance but only one point. Spuds and Arsenal both then lost and all of a sudden it was a point gained at a vital time. I still did not dare to think too much that we could do it.

The win at Man City was imo when I believed we could win it.

When vardy scored lobbing the liverpool keeper from the touchline....  I reakised if that can happen then we will win the league

I never felt safe. Still don’t now. Still think we might fvck it up right at the end. I’m ready for heartache.

Same. I believed after the Sunderland game but still didn't allow myself to expect it. **** knows how I got through those weeks.

It was like facing a cup final every match.

This and the 2-0 vs Sevilla in the Champions League are my 2 favourite games I think.

Huth was just an absolute monster in that Man City game, not just goals but his defending too.

Obviously it was a total team effort the whole season, every player deserves credit but if someone wanted to argue that he was our most important player I wouldn’t particularly disagree with them. An absolute beast.

Spurs were barely in the race for the title all season, lets be honest.

My biggest fear was after their 4 nil away win to Stoke. 4 games to go, 5 points ahead but they had a much easier run in on paper.

I looked back at the table then and they were on 68pts so they wouldnt have even got to 81pts if they won all 4 anyway.

I was at work and a wba fan comes running up to me really happy cos they drew with Tottenham and "won" us the title.

I had to sit down, visibly shaking as this was the first time I allowed myself to believe it could happen.

Fvck it was amazing wasn’t it? I watched that game on my own in my wee flat in Edinburgh and straight after my Dad phoned me, then my brother and we were all in shock really. Then my grandad text me. He died not too long after. Football, bloody hell. X

You’d think Spurs were nailed on for the title if they held on that night the way people go on.

I know. I had a conversation with a Norwich fan recently and he said he was sure that if Spurs had beaten Chelsea it was out of our hands and didn’t believe me when I said that was bollocks. Amazing how the media can reshape the truth and influence people with their deliberately lopsided narratives.

I've been told by both parents that the Shrewsbury cup game in 1982 was the best. Steve Lynex and Alan Young both ended up between the sticks and we still smashed 'em 5-2 to reach the semis.

The Battle Of The Bridge was fun too, I guess :P

Yeah definitely. Although Vardy getting sent off against West ham brought back some doubts. That Ulloa penalty was huge!

It was a great night. Amazing to see Spurs bottle it so spectacularly. Even though I have no doubt we would have gone on to win the title anyhow, Spurs not winning allowed us a stress free title coronation against Everton.

About the game at the Bridge - I watched it at home with my son. Loved the Chelsea shithousery at the end when they had a late free kick but rather than go for goal, played it into the corner to settle for the draw and therefore deny Tottenham.

Remember feelling almost a bit sorry for Poch as he watched his players totally lose the plot!
