We are hitting our stride with plenty of players rotated in with a point to prove, time to drop bad performers giving them a kick up the arse to improve and everyone wants to play in the semi final. Oh yeah, and these are still shit. It's going to take a lot more than 1 decent transfer window to bring jossy's giants (one for the kids) up to our level.

I don't think Mendy has Danny Simpson's number of appearances yet. I remember Steve Whitworth infamously only scored 1 goal in 400-odd appearances, in the 1971 Charity Shield win, but there must be someone out there who racked up 200 or 300 odd appearances and never scored (obviously not including goalkeepers).

For reference, if anyone cares, as I'm waiting for the game I went through and checked. It's Alan Woollett - 260 appearances and 0 goals between 1967-1978.
