I'm a bit surprised that the bookies have made Newcastle such clear cut favourites for this game !!  It works out well for me as I've got great odds for my bet !!

We field a much changed side and they need a win so not that surprising and they have won their last 4 at home.

Plus they have won their last 4 home matches.

What worry’s me is both nacho and daka have the worst 1st touched I think in all of the premier league , I lost count of the times both lost the ball , they really need to work on there 1st touch

Nacho’s 1st touch when he gets it right is excellent, the problem is its literally a roulette with the lad. Daka has a decent touch, i think his main issue is he isn’t strong enough.

Highly doubt that Fofana will play. Due to recently returning from a serious issue and combining that with the kick off time being at complete odds to when he can break his fast, I reckon the club will wrap him in cotton wool.

The fickleness of football, I bet half the people naming Perez forgot he was even on our books until about 7pm last night :D

There's been far too much of this not arsed attitude this season unfortunately

Me too, 7th is still a remote possibility with our games in hand.

Finish strong an take the momentum into next season.

If we weren’t in Europe 7th would be a possibility given our remaining fixtures and better form than United or wolves. Problem will be our extra European games on top of additional games in hand.. We dealt well with palace though so I wouldn’t rule it out albeit unlikely. Foxes never quit. 🦊

Why? We have two games in hand over Man. Utd who are 11 points clear of us and have won one game in five. We have 3 games in hand over Wolves who are 9 points ahead. Our form over the last 5 games is better than the 4 teams above us. I know it is unlikely and the European Conference is a distraction, but not sure why you are so certain.

BTW what would happen to European places if we won the conference and finished 7th?

Everyone should see the absolute state of Newcastle's equivalent fan forum. From slating the city, the fans and pretty much everything, they actually think because they've won the odd game lately, they are prime Real Madrid. I think some of their comments should be pinned on our dressing room walls on Sunday, we won't need a team talk, go and batter the cvnts.

Here's some of the gems

Albrighton man.

How is someone at their recruitment centre not been sacked for still having him in their squad?

They are lucky they have an ace youth system.

Really want Joelinton to snap Maddison like the mangy little twiglet he is. Horrible club, horrible city, horrible players and horrible manager.

Honking game, 1-0 win.

These are absolutely shite.

If we are absolutely shite I'd love to know what Newcastle are.

Don't worry about it...

We're not going to finish 7th.
