How would they know they were non-human?  Of unknown origin I can understand, but it seems to me that in the more covert parts of the US military, one hand doesn't know what the other is doing, let along what the Russians etc are doing.

It's currently trending in alt news and social media. The junk red-tops have embraced it, but then they aren't remotely interested in substantiation when it's sensationalism that sells. Evidence to follow? Not a chance, but it's precisely the appeal to authority/confirmation bias that crackpot conspiracy theorists and believers in this nonsense relish to reinforce their beliefs and say "I told you so".

They traverse lightyears of interstellar space purely to mutilate cattle in the midwest and abduct rednecks from trailer parks in Arkansas.

Chemtrails anyone? I stumbled across a FB group the other day called Chemtrails UK or somesuch, and at first I thought it was some kind of piss take group. But no, it seems there are plenty of people who believe the clouds are artificially created by aeroplanes in some kind of Government control exercise. Absolutely bizarre.

Well the contrails that they are misidentifying are nothing more than clouds. Because jet fuel is a hydrocarbon, the chief products of combustion are of course CO2 and H2O. Since the oxygen adds to the mass, burning a gallon of jet fuel actually makes more than a gallon of water. In the regions that aircraft cruise (the lower stratosphere), the ambient air is not only very cold, but if the relative humidity is high and encountering a lower vapour pressure, the water in the exhaust will condense out as ice, forming a trail. A contrail may be short lived, persistent, persistent spreading or it may not necessarily form at all. In cases of high Rhi, then the trail will linger because the ice crystals are unable to sublimate back into the gaseous phase (water vapour). If the air is saturated in respect to ice, then the trail will expand, spread and increase in mass because it is almost entirely drawing upon the available atmospheric moisture. As I indicated - the same process as a cloud, which is precisely what contrails are. In these conditions, the moisture in the jet exhaust is merely the trigger mechanism. I'm sure that you are aware of this, but then, enter batshit crazy USA conspiracy theory. 

 

It originated in the mid-nineties with the junk sensationalist Art Bell shows on Coast to Coast AM - (only in America) and subsequently grew with the advent of the internet and the emergence of lucrative career conspiracy theory. Basically it's the belief that aircraft contrails are actually a sinister chemical spray designed for the purposes of depopulation, mind control, controlling the weather, screen the return of planet Niburu, etc etc. The lampooned perpetrators of this hoax have since used all manner of deceptive association fallacy to legitimise and vindicate their claims, such as cloud seeding (which does not leave a lasting trail, and is conducted at a fraction of the altitude of the contrails that conspiracy theorists are misidentifying), defoliant spraying (agent orange), natural meteorological phenomena, even skywriting, but more commonly and over the past decade or so, a branch of geoengineering called Solar Radiation Management. In particular, one aspect of this, Stratospheric Aerosol Injection, which is entirely hypothetical, would aim to replicate the cooling effect of volcanic aerosols and naturally occurring heterogeneously formed sulphates in the Junge layer. The chief proponents of this, Harvard/Keutsch Group who are at the vanguard of the research have repeatedly refused ethical approval for their SCoPEx project which proposed to launch a steerable balloon 20km in altitude and release a few kilos of water and subsequently CaCO3 to evaluate perturbation. SAI will never become a reality - even as a last ditch attempt to halt global temperature increase, not simply due to environmental unknowns, the substantial levels of opposition and the logistical challenges, but pure and simple, due to the impossibility of international governance and the implications of legal liability. Chemtrail believers also fail to understand that SAI doesn't exist beyond research paper and mathematical modelling, would not form a trail or involve commercial jet aircraft, at mid latitudes, would need to take place at double the altitude of the trails that they are seeing; that there is no aircraft on the planet that could currently loft the requisite materials (which have yet to be determined) to the required altitudes (65,000 - 70,000 ft) and also, that such aerosols would be invisible to the ground base observer. 

 

They also believe that HF pumps/Ionospheric research stations such as HAARP in Alaska are designed to channel energy into these clouds and can also create earthquakes and extreme weather around the globe. Because remember - there are no longer any natural disasters, it's all caused by "da gubberment' and you are an MSM believeing sheep or a shill if you suggest otherwise. 

 

Chemtrail believers are told that a contrail must dissipate within 60 seconds, that modern high bypass turbofan engines are incapable of producing contrails, (actually, they produce more), that the skies never used to looked like this and that anything that persists, lingers and spreads must therefore be a 'chemtrail'. My frequent question to these imbeciles is whether they are also perplexed by the appearance and duration of clouds. 

 

This has to be the one of the dumbest conspiracy theories out there, next to 5G, the moon landing hoax, 9/11 and antivax. If they were genuinely the 'critical thinkers' that they purport to be, then they could easily independently verify that persistent spreading contrails have been observed, documented, recorded, photographed, filmed, measured and studied since the early advent of high altitude powered aviation and in excess of 80 years - instead of allowing online grifters and junk online conspiracy theory videos to substitute for the education that eluded them.

 

This will make you gut laugh -
