I know we all want that elusive right winger but if you think about it, this is the style of player that can make a rodgers system work. Our play looks slow and frustrating when certain players (particularly youri) aren’t fully at it. But that’s because it relies on the creative guys picking the lines. In my opinion having a player who can cut through a defense with a pass is integral to this and gives us a whole a new dimension to our play. In many ways i think this is why we look better with albrighton, because he will cross early when the opportunity is on… rather than the classic winger ‘Head down im taking you on’ He also gives us versatility and that could be huge given our luck with injuries. 6 1

Granted, that doesn't happen very often any more but hopefully we can kick on again with a fully fit squad and 20 less games to worry about. I don't think we're a million miles away from having a strong side- another quick winger, Tielemans new deal/replacement, ship out the deadwood, couple of players regaining form and we're in very good shape. 2
