Matt Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 Come on then Chelsea, in for Rodgers you go! Afterall “little old Leicester are lucky to have him”, he’s an “elite manager”, who “hasn’t been backed at Leicester”, not to mention Chelsea wanna be Leicester, Kante, Drinkwater, Chilwell, Fofana…. You wanna “be careful what you wish for” if you don’t act on the chance of getting Rodgers. 1

goose2010 Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 Potter is going to cost them 16m if they want him apparently

st albans fox Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 I find it v worrying for the rest of the prem if Chelsea really are targeting potter. It means that they are intending running the club properly and not like the circus it was under abramovich
Tuna Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 TalkSPORT reporting Chelsea approach for Potter, apparently has a 16m buyout.
Popular Post Number 6 Posted 7 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 7 September 2022 If Chelsea do go for Potter I can see Brighton making exactly the kind of appointment we should be looking at. 10 1

Bet none of the signings were Tuchels. He wanted Werner and Havertz and look how they turned out. The owner was buying the players.

They drew with Lille (not in his last game) and were probably going to win the league anyway. You know he got sacked in December right? And how my comment was worthy of a laughing face I don't know when you are clearly clueless. 1
fox_up_north Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 Chelsea will either get Poch or Potter. I genuinely think we need to get our skates on because Brighton are basically us from 2 years ago. They'll no doubt end up with someone great and we'll end up with *Checks notes* Still Brendan
Zear0 Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 It's a good job Potter isn't good enough for us. We've cleared the way for Chelsea here. 3

Don't tell Rodgers (except via national media) but he lacks that bit of quality.

Chelsea will be looking at bigger fish, but Aston Villa are in direct competition with us. I imagine Chelsea have already narrowed it down to Poch or Potter. Suspect they will go for Poch, as when do Chelski ever go for a "lesser name" and up and coming manager. (Lampard aside) 1

STUHILL Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 I like Potter a lot, so hope he does get that job, but I still think they will try get a bigger name. Is Poch a bigger name? Slightly. We need to get a move on though, as I can see us, Villa, Brighton, Bournemouth and maybe another in the next week or so, all looking for a new manager.
