Popular Post Matt Posted 18 February 2023 Popular Post Posted 18 February 2023 Not dwelling on other teams results. We need to do it for ourselves. Rodgers continues in the way he has in the past 2 games we'll be fine, revert to what we've seen over the last 2+ years it'll be down to the wire. 8

These small things that relate to our clubs heritage, because I believe what happens on the pitch is only half of what is important about a football club, are hugely important to conserve in a time when football is drastically changing. I find it quite sad that if I referred to our team as ‘city’ to another Leicester City fan, they would think I was talking about Manchester City. 4
Tuna Posted 18 February 2023 Posted 18 February 2023 (edited) Crikey what a terrible set of results in the Premier League as far as we are concerned, Bournemouth, Southampton and Everton all winning and Forest getting a draw v Man City. Edited 18 February 2023 by Tuna

Is it also problematic that I also call kits, jerseys? For some (probably most) of the local Leicester population meant going down the City. That was/is what we call our club. Referring to the Manchester clubs as 'City' and 'United' is a recent media thing and some modern fans of other clubs (and sadly some of ours, even on an LCFC forum) have latched on to it. Commentators even speak of City when both clubs are called City. It's the arrogance/lazyness of the likes of Sky and others. Personally, when I'm in the company of fellow (Leicester) City fans I will call them City. However, I won't if I'm in mixed company as it's plain rude. I call it out when I see it in a forlorn attempt to preserve some culture. I'm really not concerned what you call shirts/jerseys (although that is one of the channel islands). I make no apologies for drawing the line at Manchester clubs claiming the names for themselves. How about ManC (same number of letters)? Modern football is rubbish but it's great to have US fans 7

Dorkingfox Posted 18 February 2023 Posted 18 February 2023 Up until recently the Foxes were City not man shitty, defo media crap
Tuna Posted 18 February 2023 Posted 18 February 2023 Surely Potter is facing the sack after that? Disastrous appointment, jobs too much for him. 1

Vacamion Posted 18 February 2023 Posted 18 February 2023 I hate blood money. But I hate Liverpool more. And seeing Klopp eat shit is wonderful. So gwon Newcastle United. Today.
Corky Posted 18 February 2023 Posted 18 February 2023 We'll get days when results go for us like last week and days when they don't. We get results ourselves and we'll be ok. Away from us, I wasn't convinced by Potter and still aren't. Yes they have a lot of new players but their results are so poor.
Criggers Posted 18 February 2023 Posted 18 February 2023 (edited) Can see Chelsea coming for BR and we end up with Potter. Maybe he’ll just retire with his pockets lined from Chelsea 😆 Edited 18 February 2023 by Criggers Porter/Potter 1
chrishlcfc Posted 18 February 2023 Posted 18 February 2023 Tell you what it’s going to be a rollercoaster because there’s so many average sides this year. All the teams at the bottom are/seem capable of picking up results.
cruzFOX Posted 18 February 2023 Posted 18 February 2023 Don't know what to make of all that today - phew! forest getting a point, everton getting 3 and Southampton getting 3. The villa game surprised me as they could have won that or draw at the very least but for some reason expected an arses win. Well we keep focus on the task at hand which is go to OT with no fear we play our game but play smart and come away with all 3 points or 1. Foxes do it the hard way!

Vacamion Posted 18 February 2023 Posted 18 February 2023 That is the third instance of "midriffT" I've heard on Sky today. I'm going to write to my MP or something.
ithuriel Posted 18 February 2023 Posted 18 February 2023 Think Leeds are in loads of trouble, sinking down slowly but surely
