Ok so I still don't get how we're the only club in the division who is so ****ed financially while others seem to be extra flush.

Maybe we are trying to run it as a business and others are running on higher debt. I’m sure forest are doing that with their signings.

The business idea fails if you lose out millions once we fall Out of the division. Amazing training ground, great stadium expansion - championship football. Look after the product first and the rest will come. The product at the moment is failing massively.

Makes me wonder is this and all the Man City prospects they've signed the work of their new Head of Recruitment and not Glover who we've brought here?

That's the great mystery. Either:

- Things are really bad with KP in their core business and they can't continue to put money in, and with money already committed to stadium improvements their hand is forced.

Or

- They don't want to back Rodgers and plan to back the next coach next season when our new Head of Recruitment is here.

I think it's the second, because if we were desperate for funds there would be a fire sale and things like selling stadium rights would be on offer. But honestly, who knows? But we all know something is up, there is too much weirdness going on, the silence is deafening and as you point out, this is a point in time that all the other clubs are cash rich due to money from new Premier League deals. And last time I looked, we were a well established Premier League club who was also involved in that deal!

Maybe we're just getting ahead of the pack with the Premier league looking to introduce a Wage/turnover ratio cap similar to the one Uefa have introduced.

I've seen some murmurings online that this could be Tielemans.

If that were to happen it would be a pretty clear indicator that the reason Youri wants out is Brendan.

Dunno. It's clear that Wolves are showing more ambition with their signings. We're giving every indication of a club trying to manage decline.

I can't see it happening as you'll likely want too much money for him.

He wants European football and apparently his wage demands are huge as well.

If its for a fee barely £5m more than we are willing to pay for that piece of shit Boga as well.....

Is this finally some pay back to us for all the hacienda success of recent years?

Not too fussed.

Didn't really look anything special against us, reminds me of Alireza Jahanbakhsh transfer who looked a world beater in the Eredivisie
