Glover was heralded as someone to help wheel and deal and find gems and be able move players on on a limited budget.

 

Then some idiot got him in but didn't do their due diligence so he effectively couldn't work when we really needed him in the summer. Roll on January and still nothing.

 

This isn't Brendan's fault but the board being totally incompetent.

We should have signed Alcaraz in the summer but apparently didn't want to pay the money for him. Same with Enzo Fernandez. We could have had them both for £35-40m.

Southampton haven't even got a chief scout, didn't their new scout who came from Man City academy went to Chelsea afew months ago.

And Southampton still do business in the transfer market 🙄

Good signing for Leeds. Will be more reliable than Bamford and gives them a better option up front.

Nice signing that, no guarantee he hits the ground running as he's not exactly been prolific in the Bundesliga but it's a good bit of business. Not jealous at all

Lot of money, but another sizzling young attack talent to pair with Gnonto.  When Sinisterra gets back Marsch will have a lot of interesting options up front.

They still have all the work glover did before he left - we used Walsh’s black book for years after he left!

Big Wout to United. Wouldn't mind someone like him here. A beast, dominant in the air and can hold it up. Totally different option to what we have... If only our manager knew what a plan B was.

He is very underrated during all his time in the Bundesliga only Lewandowski scored more goals than him.
