Ideal we want two, one who can play both and one who a natural RW.

Squad management has been poor the last 18 month, to end up with 9 CM and one decent winger is dreadful.

You can’t criticize Rudkin, though…

I’ll take anyone atm but this lad would struggle in this league, looks very weak.

I mean Mahrez was Eddie Hall’s physical doppelgänger wasn’t he?

You don't necessarily have to be strong to succeed in the Prem.  Mahrez is an example given before here I think.  Strength is not his game,  he uses dribbling, decent pace, anticipation etc to beat his man and apparently isn't a bad passer of the ball either.

His stats also suggest a decent defensive work rate despite his small stature and he is versatile and that always suits old man Rodgers.

Would be happy to see him here, although would be happy to see anyone here right now as you said, other than another CM.

Diop left Maddison right.

....they both tend to come in, playing in the half spaces!!!

We still cannot bring in an actual out-and-out winger. You see other clubs doing it, but we want to go down the shoehorn route again. Like bringing in Perez, he was neither one or the other and we still struggle to incorporate him into the team even after all this time.

Feel kinda sorry for him coming here, we are completely a mess.

The fact we have to play turgid back 5 formations makes us much worse than we really are, signing a winger would alleviate that issue. We could play a 433 again.

Exactly, we're in a very good place over the longer-term.

Things look difficult in the short-term but we have great owners, a brilliant training ground and plans to grow our revenue, along with some top talent and exciting younger players coming through.

We've had a brilliant few years, but feels like we're taking one step back right now to move forward and achieve our ambitions sustainably.

This.

We are desperate for a signing or two to balance it out and freshen things up.
