Nah he’s crap. At least Huth, Morgan and Maguire had something about them. They were all very solid defenders. Vestergaard is dreadful.

I was a Vestergaard truther for a while. Couldn't accept he was that bad. But he is, he really is.

What confuses me with this, is surely you just pay the remaining of the wage for a year or so as you still bring in a fee and get the bulk of the wages off the books.

 

for example, if Fulham was only willing to pay him £50k a week and he’s on £70k pay the remaining £20k for a time period as you’ll still save £50k a week and bring in around £10m.

 

it’s not great business but better than nothing and the result you pay for handing out such sh*t in the first place!
