Sometimes a club getting relegated can actually be good for a club to 'reset', despite the obvious financial consequences.

Might give Cardiff a massive reality check, after a difficult few years, should they go down..

Is it a contractual obligation for West Brom to play all their games on a Friday evening? Seems to happen every week. Another one tonight at away at Brum.

It’s ok - we play them on a Monday in a week or so !

They do seem to be on a lot though.

Funnily enough I thought similar about Blues.

Still not Saturday though is it poor Baggies fans!

@SemperEadem agreed and Cov too maybe it's a West Midlands thing. West Brom do take the biscuit though. I'd love to see the stats of how many Friday evening games they had this season.

West Brom are always a Friday night and weirdly Cardiff are always a Sunday lunchtime

When they play each other they should then meet in the middle and play Saturday 3pm. Makes you think.

Wonder if it's partly to do with policing in the West Midlands?

And it fits in well for Sky to broadcast the games.

Lot of teams in that area and must be a nightmare for policing.

In years gone by, City and Tigers would both kick off at the same time at home, even Forest and Notts County used to play at home on the same day.

Would never happen nowadays.

Didn't City and Tigers stop because of the increased capacity of Welford Road?

Classic Championship.

Birmingham cannot buy a win then 2 comes along at once.

I mean goodness knows what this division will be like next season if there isn't a Burnley or Sheffield United type team.

Can't see it happening, but if Huddersfield beat Stoke away this week coming, it'll be very interesting towards the bottom.

From the outside and like many others, it feels to me like Corberan is building something at WBA - had a similar feeling with Cooper at Forest. He's obviously just signed a new long-term contract there as well.

Burnley need 39 points from the remaining 48 available to break the points record

35 points to better our 13/14 season

Kompany done a superb job there.

Be interesting to see how he gets on with Burnley in the PL next season.

Bristol City now unbeaten in ten games and seven points off the play-offs. Promotion push coming for Big Nige? Believe it.

Some good wins in there too. Great turnaround so far considering how bad they were (think he had won something like 3 in 15 before this). Just hope they become consistent now.
