I’m considering flogging it and just buying the England Ghana game. Seems like our ticket is worth more.

Can you currently buy tickets to matches?

They are available on stub hub but I think it could be a bit risky. Even the ones I got from fifa haven’t actually been allocated to us yet

What time (UK) will the games be on telly please?

England matches are 9 and 10 pm.

Rest of the tournament are kinda all over the place, with anywhere between 5 pm to 5 am start times.

I don’t really know what to make of this World Cup.

The draw was severely cringeworthy.

FIFA itself is a bit of a joke.

Everyone will watch it, as it’s the World Cup, however it’s not exactly in a place the world wants to watch football. I feel sort of luke warm toward it like I did Qatar; which was a total joke.

Could be at 1am our time ?

England games seem to be on at decent times .

Not too late compared to some.

21:00, Wed, 17th June v Croatia - Dallas

21:00, Tue, 23rd June v Ghana - Boston

22:00, Sat, 27th June v Panama - New Jersey

Not for those of us who are up early for work/have a toddler who gets up in the night, and like to be in bed by 10 lol

Might make an effort for the Panama game

on the Saturday!

Croatia is the only group game you need to bother watching really. Win that and we win the group.

Ghana are poor nowadays (72nd in world rankings) and Panama are just whipping boys who shouldn't even be there.

Scotland games are 2am for Haiti and 11pm for the others.

Shit times.

They should play the games around European timing!!!😁

It does make sense but with all the inevitable time wasting, 5 subs, var checks, player arguments, goal celebrations (in tournament football these sometimes get ridiculous), I'd be surprised if the ball is in play for more than 20 minutes a half lol

I guess it's a good idea but  for 3 minutes!

Is that so they can fit a load of adverts in?

They’ll make use of it that’s for sure. Tv companies will make an absolute killing.

Are we living in a parody? FIFA said it's to, 'prioritise player welfare'. Where was that concern when making the decision to extend the World Cup to about 100 teams? And shouldn't player welfare be a consideration when choosing a host nation? Not just the size of the bribes?
