I went there not long after it opened and one of the exhibits was potatoes.

 

In fairness I have heard many people speak highly of it more recently

I last went probably 8 years ago but enjoyed it, worth a visit if it's not too expensive

I really enjoyed it, so was about to say 'definitely go' but ouch at that price! It's worth a visit, but I guess it depends on your overall budget for the holiday and what you are weighing it up against. On a side note I quite enjoyed Newquay Zoo which is nearby and you could take the whole family to visit for half the price.

I went, probably 10 years+ ago. I really enjoyed it. It's very humid in some sections.

Yes, but as others said it’s pricey. As a rule of thumb, the tropical ‘pod’ is far more interesting than the ambient temperature one.

We went a few years back with a baby so only had to pay for the adult entry. It was good but your kids might get bored, there's lost of stuff to read about plants and some interactive stuff, but it's not fun fun. You'll probably end up paying for them to go on the zipline if they get bored. We also went to Tintagel castle and the Lost Gardens of Heligon might be better alternatives.

Imagine that, but much bigger and more humid. If you're into plants you'll love it, if not you'll question why you're there very quickly

I have a conservatory you can visit for just £10 each, there's a lovely argos sofa in there, a corner one no less and a pool table to admire. Although I'm not in Cornwall. Could stick some plants in it if you pay in advance 🤔

Lost Gardens of Heligan is more interesting IMO.

It would depend on your interests. I liked it but got a bit bored after an hour and did the zip-wire which was fun.

They’ve finished now, but the Eden Sessions every summer are usually fantastic. Been a couple of times over the years and they usually have some decent bands/artists, and it’s a great night in a spectacular setting. Unsure on costs but if anyone is ever down around that time can highly recommend

I can't be arsed to look them up but I love the Hornet Land and Wasp World ones
