Thought Ricky, Bouba and Wright played really nicely together. Wright in particular impressed me that half, excellent close control and dribbling.

No surprise to see Soumare look decent, he looked very good last pre-season too.

If you don't play him, in the same position regularly, he's never going to get the confidence he needs to play.

 

 

But one thing we can learn from today, even though it's a meaningless game, our squad is so shallow in terms of quality. Besides Barnes, who is still inconsistent, we lack attacking wide men so so badly. Albrighton/Perez and co are never going to convince me they're good enough to contribute with goals.
