I love that we have three natural finishers at the club in Vardy, Daka and Iheanacho. Kel's finish today especially was excellent.

 

With Nacho being such a good finisher but his best position essentially as a CAM or supporting striker, it does make me wonder if he could be converted into an inverted RW. Perhaps that instinct to take people on would need to be coached into him but it would solve a huge problem for us. Wishful thinking I suppose.

Youri was easily the best player on the pitch. Preat never seems to do much when he gets in promising positions, reckon that's why Rodgers has little faith in him

I must say, both performances today and Hull last week were all better than anything we managed in the whole of pre-season last year (minus Villareal). I’ve been really impressed with the general sharpness and some of the play so far! 👏🏻
 

Nice that our forward players are all scoring too, great for confidence! Vards, Daka, Nacho, Barnes, Madders all getting goals and assists which is great! 
 

Maybe we won’t get relegated this season after all 👀

Enjoyed this one more than the Preston game.

 

It was good to see our reserves looking so sharp, moving the ball around quickly etc.

Sums him up really, with the ball he's great, but off the ball just isn't where we need him to be.
