Ward hasn’t played any preseason games, so surely won’t be thrown straight in. I would imagine he’d get a couple of U21s games to get back into the swing of things. 
Barnes appears like he’s fit and ready on his social media.

If this side can’t beat Brentford we’re in for a long season.

Always find comments like this a bit weird. 

 

How we play one game doesn't always dictate how the rest of the season goes. Spurs lost 3 games at the start last season then finished top 4.

 

What if we lose on Sunday then bear Arsenal away. What say you then?

@StanSPIt’s all what if’s. I don’t know what I’d say if that happened, It’d depend on circumstances. But I feel that team should be beating Brentford especially considering our form against them. That said, looking at other threads just now, that team looks unlikely!

Please, please give us some good news, Brendan.

 

How about:

"Fofana and Maddison are both staying", "Ricardo injury is not as bad as first feared", "Barnesy is fine and raring to go", "Vestergaard has been sold for what we paid for him", "Arsenal have stumped up £50m for Youri", "We have bought an exciting new right winger" ??

 

I guess just one of those would be nice

Surely with them prem starting tonight we’ve had to register players we intend to include in Sundays squad. 
 

Wonder who we’ve initially left out? 
 

Say for example we register Youri and play him then sell him, can we reallocate his registration spot?
