A hero on and off the field. 

One of Leicester's greatest ever and the most incredible keeper some of us would have ever seen in a Leicester shirt. 

 

Several memorable moments to savour. It will be a very long time before we have someone as loyal and talented in between the sticks...

I can’t actually imagine us without him.

 

The stick he gets on here is ridiculously over the top. He is a fantastic goalkeeper and either Ward or Iverson are downgrades at this stage.

 

I can’t blame him for wanting to leave though, it feels like the right time. Just a shame we won’t get the chance to say goodbye.

World Class keeper at his peak. I still don’t think he’s fallen far from his peak now either. 
 

We’ll be longing for his return in 3 months time.

I can still hear the slap of his hand stopping that attempt from Mount near the end at Wembley.   :wub:

 

Kasper and his massive personality are a huge part of our golden period.

 

I want him to come back and manage us.

Been an absolute pleasure to get the chance to watch him these past 11 years! Will go down in history along with Vardy as one of the most legendary figures in the club’s history.

 

Will never forget his save vs Chelsea in the FA Cup final or his penalty save vs Sevilla in the CL. Surely 2 of the most, if not *the* 2 most iconic saves in the clubs history?

 

Will always put a smile on my face hearing his name in the future.

Wish we could have said goodbye to him properly, but what a player and he's had some unbelievable moments especially in the Champions League and FA cup. Legend is an understatement

I was lucky enough to be at the cup final. My line of sight was pretty much perfectly in line with Mount's shot and it's not just that I expected it was going in, even when the save was made I couldn't quite fathom how it wasn't a goal. The FA Cup win is as important historically as the league win and Schmeichel won it for us. 

 

And it's not just the cup final he won. He was invaluable in our promotion and title win. And the European runs of course. I didn't see Banks or Shilton and I believe people when they say they were the most talented, but I think there's an argument he's our greatest goalkeeper, and surely one of our greatest players full stop. I was really hoping he'd become our all time leading appearance maker but I don't begrudge him his move.

 

He is a big game player, and that's an underrated quality considering how much of a cliche it is. I said to the guy next to me at the pub he'd save Kane's penalty and I have to admit I did feel for him when Kane scored the rebound. As much as I wanted England to win, I would've loved him to have got to the final and won it. 

 

He is a very special player for us, one of the greatest. And I hope we honour him as such.

I love the guy. One of my favourite ever Leicester players. I thought he'd be here until he retired, gutted to see him leave.

 

I think those who were saying he should move on last season will have a whole new appreciation for just how good he is in the very near future.

I'll be following his career in Nice. Really hope he smashes it over there. I think he's a great signing for them, ideal character to help them to get to the next level.
