Looks like it's not a new phenomena. This is Darwen in 1898/99 only won 2 games all season guess who one of the obliging teams were.

Sandwiched between 8-1 and 6-0 losses. 😂

 

At least we did them back at Filbo. 

 

Their away record is something to behold. All losses except 1 draw and an average loss of about 6 mil!

To be fair, that's a tough league for a town of 30,000 people - although only division 2, its got 3 of the rich six in it, and the clubs in that division have gone on to win 24 out of the 31 Premier League titles between them...

We are going to drop points this season no doubt. If it happens today its because this league is a long hard slog, not because this outfit is the obliging Leicester City. If we drop points over the next few games, i still back us to turn it around as needed.
