Unfortunately he doesnt have one key criteria and that is he isn’t available on a loan with option to buy option. For that we won’t be interested.

Thanks Rudders.

Or just call his actual manager Michael Appleton. It seems they are resigned to losing him so may as well lose him to a Premier league side.

....I  would think Appleton would encourage him to come here, due to his previous connections to our club!!!

Young player, potential for improvement, low fee and salary.  Bin.     Our new policy is to sign older deadwood for big fees on large salaries to ensure relegation becomes a real threat.  Get this done ffs.

There just has to be a reason us, and other clubs aren't jumping over this .... He seems insanely cheap for some one ripping up the Championship!

Clubs often seem nervous about attacking players from the lower leagues. They worry that the leap will be too much. But history has shown that if the price is right it's worth a punt. Bowen has made the leap well. That Vardy lad also.

I remember Matty Elliot was constantly overlooked as folk thought him too slow for the Prem - fools the lot of them!!!

Some say similar player to Bowen and I would be keen on this. Of course there will be doubts whether he is good enough but not a huge amount to lose.

Doesn't mean they will take 4m

One of my good mates is a Blackpool season ticket holder and they've been led to believe that the club would sell for £5-6m but likely take less if forced to. Its massive money for Blackpool.

The only problem I see with with is the expectation. Obviously it will be a low fee, but he should be like a 5th/6th signing of a window in terms of expectation, after you've brought in your key immediate targets. Instead people are going to be expecting him to be a key player straight away...Partly because of a lack of signings, and partly because we have nothing going forward out wide except for Barnes.

But I doubt we're considering him anyway, we're probably after someone valued at £15-20 million who has scored 2 goals in the last 3 years and is 29.

A proper right winger, left footed - a profile we’ve been after for years. Young. Tearing up the championship. And available for 5/6m.

But no, let’s go for a Lee Congerton cast off, replaced in the Atalanta starting XI by a player we decided to let slip - and pay a similar price to what we could have paid for Lookman anyway.

Amateur hour.

Have we actually signed Boga then?

I have to say, put like that, any ´´refresh´´ must include head of Football Operations and the entire Recruitment Team.  I am becoming more depressed by the minute.

It’s amazing to see a topic go hot on a player we aren’t really linked to when there are numerous links to others !

Probably because we've been linked a few times before
