For me the team, well formation at least, is the correct side for Arsenal away. The problem was that it was wrong team for Brentford at home.

Think we are getting a right good stuffing today, even if the scoreline isn’t 5 or 6… I don’t see where the goal threat comes from. Vardy won’t have a sniff on his own against those two centre backs. 
So when I say get a stuffing, I mean, we won’t carry a goal threat, it’ll be attack vs defence

If you watch the game then its clear to see Soy is a superior defender to Amartey esp at LCB.

At his best, I 100% agree, there really is no comparison at all. It’s just that since the Euro’s Cags looks totally shot, so I don’t think it’s so cut and dried.

Amartey is nowhere good enough and I would not suggest he is, just right now neither of them are up to standard

I guess BR wants him gone ASAP maybe he feels there is no hope of an extension being signed.
