We have way too much individual quality to go down. I’d also be very surprised if Brendan is here much longer. Which will also give the squad a boost. We a team and a manager, the cohesion and management will make or break us. Of course if Rodgers goes things change but he is still here.

Why are the board taking there time in getting rid?

Arsenal are flying and we were unlucky this afternoon, on another day Perez chance would have gone in. Southampton was poor but four games in and apparently we are already relegated! Liverpool only had two points before today! Games last 90 plus stoppage not 60, poor micky adams learnt that. -- Seen the posts saying we need new players, its a coaching issue, soyuncu and evans are more than capable. Cincinnati Fox Posted 28 August 2022 Posted 28 August 2022 I can’t see we’re 40 points are coming from! 1

Media will attribute no blame to him as he has had no support in their eyes! The charlatan will get away with it.
Bazly Posted 28 August 2022 Posted 28 August 2022 I predict the end of season line up will be 20 Bournemouth 19 LC and 18 Fulham. Summer sale of Maddison and Ndidi with Tielemans going on a freebie. We get to keep Perez, Lurch and Bertrand to rebuild around. The championship can be fun, winning sometimes is fun. That 100pt season was fun.

tsintskaro Posted 28 August 2022 Posted 28 August 2022 Doubt relegation, but one thing that scares me is that we might become 12-13th place club like Southampton and Crystal palace 1
richard123 Posted 28 August 2022 Posted 28 August 2022 I'm not worried about relegation after 4 games 🙈. Why? Because I trust Top and his family. Keep your heads. It's a tough start but there are many factors causing this. Yes Brendan is done here and will likely be sacked soon. But assuming we will certainly be relegated after 4 games is crazy. Trust our owners.
fox_up_north Posted 28 August 2022 Posted 28 August 2022 I said before - first team is good enough for top 10, when managed well. But it isn't. So if we get to Spurs and haven't picked up any more points, I think he's done. We HAVE to beat Villa. Even then we'd be at 7 games, 4 points. Relegation form.

If you offered 17th right now, I think a lot of folks would take it, sight unseen. 3

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 August 2022 Posted 28 August 2022 We've got some handy players but our defence (under this manager, at least) is just not up to it at all. Don't think we'll go down but we aren't above it if we keep conceding twice a game. Our form over the past 9 months or so has been absolutely appalling.

Raj Posted 28 August 2022 Posted 28 August 2022 When we lose to Forest the reality of the situation will fi ally hit home with everyone who cares about the club. People must be un denial to think we havent slumped for over a season now. 1
ramaiya2 Posted 28 August 2022 Posted 28 August 2022 We have Man UTD, Brighton, Villa and Tottenham coming up. I don't think we will get many points out of these. we are in big trouble.

Jaspa Posted 28 August 2022 Posted 28 August 2022 Decent chance we'll go bottom of the League today, with West Ham away at Villa.

John12345 Posted 28 August 2022 Posted 28 August 2022 Last season bottom 3 after 4 matches, Burnley Newcastle Norwich on 1,1 and 0 points respectively.
