We need to make sure by the world Cup that we aren't in a relegation dog fight. After that we can reevaluate. The new signings need to hit the ground running and I'd like to see less injuries to the squad( after the last few years I know that's a big ask).

I expect we will get relegated.

I'm embarrassed by what we've become.

Worst of all, the powers at the club seem unable or unwilling to change anything:unsure:

I just think that Top is out of his depth, as harsh as it is.

It's easy to smile, wave & buy fans stuff when things are going well. We need some real leadership and grit now that things aren't going well and I'm not sure its in him.

Most will come down to his advisors, who seem just as clueless.

To see Brendan turn things around, slowly edge up the table and when we play Chelsea down here, due to whatever, Vestergard is playing, lumbers up the pitch for a corner like Lurch on a pub crawl and he topples over onto Weasley, like King Kong belly flopping a Blancmange

Will have a better view by Friday morning but difficult to see past a relegation battle right now and just hope the likes of Madders and Barnes can stay fit and keep us safe.

It's going to be a unique and unpredictable season. All teams are strong and fighting - the early results show that. We also have a winter break and world cup which will affect bigger clubs more than us. We also don't have European football so we'll have less games.

I suspect we'll be bottom half table between 10-14.

Lots of people said last seasons 8th was a disappointment with our squad.

We have lost Kasper and Fofana who only played 7 games.

People know say squad would be lucky to get 17th!

People must think Kasper is one hell of a Keeper to make that much difference.

Why is it the fans that need to adjust our expectations to suit those running the club? It should be them seeing to it that our expectations are met. We've already had to endure last seasons pathetic campaign, now it's time for the club to make it up to us, and that starts with a new manager.

Hope to just stay up, would take 17th in a heartbeat now and have a rebuild with a new manager and with a lot of the deadwood gone next summer. Rebuild plans will go out the window in the event of relegation.

It just doesn’t seem right to feel relegation is more likely now than when we were 7 points adrift in March 2015 but then we had a proper manager who created a siege mentality and adapted to the situation, not a self involved salesman who would rather chuck everyone under the bus and create a negative mentality instead!

I think tomorrow is a big mentality test for the lads.

Not expecting to win the game but I'm expecting the players to show that they're up for the fight.

Would love a fast start and to put Man United under pressure from the start of the game.

Reality is though that it's a massive, massive game and this set of players have often come up short when the heat is on.

I think, simply because of the dressing room unrest we are now in my top 3 for relegation.   Thats not coming as a fan, thats coming from how id view the league as a neutral.

We need something to click and we also need a bit of luck on our side. If we stay up this year ill be very happy  with the season... I cant believe im writing that but its true.

11th.

We'll be something like 14th before the World Cup break after a frustrating an inconsistent run. We'll come back after the WC and everything will click for a bit, Vardy and Barnes will go on a run of goal scoring form and we'll recover up to mid table. Then Vardy will get injured and we'll drop off the boil again before Iheanacho runs in to a purple patch of late season form to steady the ship.

Rodgers leaves by mutual consent at the end of the season as we agree to pay off something like 50-70% of his remaining contract. He'll be replaced by one of Frank, Potter or Cooper.

Its the shift in mentality and momentum

thats the most alarming.

Rodgers had the whole summer to get on top of the issues we had last season and it seems to have gotten worse not better so far this season.

10th would be a real achievement.
