I think the poster's original point still stands though. We don't know what he's like. Me and a bloke exchanged words over a driving incident the other day. I'm sure he was probably a nice guy in other circs. and I know I am.

It's not the only time he's ever shushed/cupped his ears etc to the fans though. It's a regular occurence.

The most important thing is his body language on the pitch, and it sucks! I don't want that kind of energy on the pitch, especially when we have so many talented youngsters in the squad now.

If he’s not leaving, we should just let him train alone or with the U21’s. Whether he has a contract or not, let him know he’s not welcome here. I wish we were harder on some of these mercenaries that have let us down season after season.

How much damage would that do to the U21s? You want to coach there attitude as much as anything, having unwanted players from the first team squad dumped in with them would not help that.

That’s what I’ve read, but it wasn’t from a particularly trustworthy source.

The rules changed after the "bomb squad"  Treating first team players as outcasts is a clear case of constructive dismissal, and could result in us paying up his whole contract in full,  with all loyalty bonuses etc.

He was excellent when we first signed him, his decline happened under our roundabout of managers who couldn't organise a defence. 

I feel he thinks hes got cover both our defence and midfield because both were poor.
