So ask half the thread the same thing? Is he your lover? Starting a narrative that we all hate Ward? Just saying it was a shit decision and contributed to the goalstrs

Are you 5 years old or something?

Absolutely embarrassing people are trying to blame Ward for that. Why has he become the scapegoat? That was due to a huge gap in the defence and nothing more.

It was the wimpish attempt to save, and at very least could have make then work for the goal.

Thomas was most at fault though, left the rest of the defence for dead.

Also at fault along with others, pointless long ball

Let's be fair... I'm not a fan.   So when I defend him, it should mean something, lol

We have no intensity, no desire, no giving 110% - it feels now they aren’t playing for Rodgers, watching Newcastle run through a brick wall for Eddie Howe last night confirmed it.

Faes is pronounced “farce”

Ironic that he’d probably be the only one of the back five that isn’t one.

Not one of your replies has given a reason why it was a good decision.

We are a team completely devoid of any shape, plan, tactic, identity, or leadership.

I think Soumare is supposed to be in midfield, he’s not even touched it yet

We look like a Championship team. Long balls, scrappy play, very little quality.

In a way, but bad kicks happen, you adjust. As soon as they see that kick, every player should be reacting. Thomas and Justin most of all but everyone should be dropping immediately.

The whole pitch is stretched, I understand we've got to get back in but if players have released for the press you can't expect them to recover straight back to where they should be. It's poor game management from Ward, he's not read the situation and turned possession over too easily.

Tossing cock knobs.

Still, admire BR fo actually going for it for once.

He still picked the wrong players to deal with Utd though. No bite in midfield and Thomas was always going to struggle against pace.

It's fvcking groundhog day over and over.  Our standard of football is championship level at very best. Which is where we are headed unless someone at the club, with some balls, fires this absolute bellend who hasn't got a clue what he's doing.

I don't think he's anymore culpable then anyone else, but it's a stupid long pass to play when the pass to Ndidi was on

It is Rodgers stupid attempt to make us like Man City

It was mentioned in pre-season that he wants us to play with the fullbacks coming inside
