We take the rough with the smooth and move on. What debts? Genuine question. They bought the stadium, but what debts? 1
Blue ROI Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 8 months making a change when it was clear to all of us what was happening. Zzzzz.... Top
fox_up_north Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 I'm ambivalent to a sale. No doubt he'd get more than what his dad paid. We're worth so much more than we were back then. I also don't want to be bought by some dodgy foreign investment fund. I think his heart is in the right place and he cares but he needs to show humility and accept that he doesn't know what the fuch he's doing, so appoint someone who does. 1
adamkhalifa Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 The high fives when you score, knowing Everton need to Win. What was that all about.
turlo Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Needs to get shot of Rudkin as a minmum and get a proper DoF in to run the footballing side of the club but sadly he's he loyal/close with Rudkin
adejo92 Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 What's with all this sudden hate towards Top? We knew this would happen ages ago. Is it all of the 'we'll be fine' crew who've just suddenly woken up? 2
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Be careful what you wish for. Now is the time for him to show true leadership and be ruthless. We owe the family the chance to sort this out. There is no chance they sell us while we are a championship club as they will get feck all for us. Massive mistakes have been made this season. Let's hope we put it right. Firstly Rudkin, Whelan and Neville sacked by the morning. We go from there. Anything less would mean disaster next season too. We need the biggest shake up this club has ever had. Time to be a man Top. Time to be the man or **** off.
BlueSi13 Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Everything has turned to shit. Minus the vanity project/white elephant training ground that the club were pregnant with from when Vichai was alive, everything has declined horrifically. The club is run like it's still in League One with a Championship standard stadium. What a spectacular missed opportunity to becomes one of England's elite. The fall from here will be terrifying so buckle up.

So for that, we can’t really be angry at him. When the dust settles, he should be gone. We all know this but for Top, you have to remember that the club has had 13 good years with him in this role. It will be hard for him to throw him away after the one truly awful season. It’s the right thing to do and rudkin has ridden the wave of other peoples good work for far too long. But I think people are wrong to completely blame Top as looking at it rationally you can understand why he would have given him the time he has. I personally don’t think there’s even a remote chance of change of the idiom or wheelan 1

kingfox Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Under his leadership as Chairman we’ve seen Europe and a FA Cup win, to say he’s done a terrible job is knee-jerk. But this season he made one grave mistake, he kept hold of Rodgers for far too long when he needed to be more ruthless. He needs to learn from this and find a ruthless streak, if he continues to be too comfortable and nice then this club will continue to derail. 2 1

The guys turned is from a top club into a shambles in unbelievably quick time and will carry on doing so whilst hes in the job Edited 28 May 2023 by Jono1604
mowmacrefox Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Anger, we say some strange shit when angry ..😂Get a grip people
Product of 84 Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 We need Top more than ever. Stability right at the top allows us to rebuild below. 1 1
Buzzell Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 (edited) Now’s the time Top. Clear the rot and get fresh ideas and faces in the club. Edited 28 May 2023 by Buzzell 1
tom27111 Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Will we get a free beer for our first home game next season? If so, let's keep him.

Fazzer 7 Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 He must be lacking in some departments. He now needs to man up and remove Rudkin like tomorrow. He's allowed that incompetent fool to ruin this club. Like Piper said. How can they allow so many players to run contracts down in the way it's been done. Its incompetence plain and simple. 1
LCFCCHRIS Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Top IN. It’s fickle to suggest otherwise. Better than a investment fund or Saudi sports washing tw@ts, also, we’ve been given more than we could ever have hoped for.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 He isn’t a billionaire owner. He’s a kid who went through all the prep to try to emulate one - very rarely works. We are stuck with him. Time to get the cheque book out young man, no glossy Newspaper articles on how you saved everybody like you like to do. Praying for new investment of some sort to at least hold him accountable or at least the family to do that.
HankMarvin Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 He fcked up, if he was poorly advised. The trigger should be pulled on those involved. Trying to save money not firing rodgers has backfired spectacularly 1
coolhandfox Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 People saying it time to go. But you gave to have a buyer to sell, can't see there being a massive queue.
