Been for a run this morning,  it feels like Christmas  day. All the shops closed, mo traffic and only a few dog walkers.

I suspect some people will be p1ssed at home watching tv by 3pm expecting Charlie  to give a speech before they tuck into cheese and crackers.

I’m gonna get socks again aren’t I? I hate socks.

Anyone got a decent stream? Mine keeps buffering

BBC is showing it on their website, even for those outside the UK.

Otherwise Sky News is always available to be streamed live through its YouTube channel outside the UK.

Think it's quite amazing so many playing there and all in time.

It's quite a spectacle.

I don't usually like them, but yes it's pretty impressive

It's quite a spectacle for sure.

But we'd do well to remember the cost of this when, over the winter months, we're told there's absolutely no money to subsidise the public for energy bills.

Amazing the money that can be extracted for the right person.

I’ve heard £100m. Not sure if that’s just today or the previous 10 days too.

edit - worth noting I’ve never put on such an extravagant event so I could be way out.

I have no idea but it'll be breathtaking.

And, crucially, it will be footed by the tax payer.
