Does Brendan not like Nigeria ? Genuinely concerned at the moment. What other reason could he have to not play a man who has done more in half a season for this club than Brendan has in his entire career.

Bit far-fetched considering he played Ndidi at CB ahead of other central defenders.

Just show some fight. For the love of God....show a bit of fight!!

Exactly this. Show some pride passion and actually look like you are bothered. Put in effort you'll eventuality get reward.

I've been asking for a bj for months, i think tonight could be the night

Is there any chance of him not being sacked should we get a result? I’m very concerned about that

I don't think there is any reason to be concerned.

lol your defence of him is that he continues to play a incredibly talented DM/destroyer out of position. Remember when Ndidi was linked with all sorts of big clubs. Yeah, does Brendan hate Nigeria ?

I'd have thought if 'hated Nigeria' he doesn't play Ndidi at all.

You tend to take everything quite literally don’t you Stan ?

Funny thing about Rodgers dropping Nacho at every opportunity is that if he never dropped him we probably wouldnt have turned to shit. We had a great run with him in the side then he binned him off.

Ward on the other hand..

Couldn’t care less about contract situations etc etc play the best bloody team which is IMO…

Iversen (Wards confidence is shot)

Faes

Evans

Cags

Castagne

Ndidi

Tielemans

Maddison

JJ

Iheanacho

Daka

Barnes and KDH tough to leave out but with the absence of a RW I feel this system and group of players is our best shot.

Switch to 4-3-3 and manufacture a RW (Kel or Perez) if we’re looking crap.

What else would you mean lol

Guessing he hates Danes because he let Kasper go and Vestergaard doesn't get a look in

What did I say that he riled you up so much ? I didn’t say that he hated Nigeria - read it again. Then concentrate on something more productive for the rest of the day.

Gutted Iheanacho has been dropped for seemingly no reason again.

Surely we all know by now Rodgers doesn't think he offers enough from a defensive point of view and as he can't play as a wide forward or a lone striker, in the number 10 position he needs to be more aware, that and Soumare's lack of awareness was a big reason we conceded five against Brighton.

When was the last time we got a penalty.  Got to be due one soon, although we actually have to get in spurs penalty are to get one!

Just a matter of how many we concede I suspect. Kane is bound to score at least one. However many we lose by Brendan will still be here for the next match.

My prediction is 5-0 Spurs and Faes red card on debut

It's a pretty decent shout.

I got 250/1 on Kane 1st scorer and Ndidi red.

Maybe but I think the reason we conceded 5 against Brighton is that we basically gave up.

There was a lot made about how many penalties we used to be given a few years back in our 'unsustainable' style.

It's not that we were 'given' them or 'won' them, it simply shown how often we got forward, how much we got it in the oppositions box, despite letting the opposition have more of the ball and us giving up possession, possession with purpose, effective, ruthless football.

As you say, getting in the opponent's penalty area would be a start, meanwhile we'd rather play sideways passes camped on our own 18 yard box, go over the halfway line and we start getting nosebleeds.

I know you didn't say he hated Nigeria. But you asked a question which I felt like answering and discussing:dunno:

I don't have any issues with what you said, and nothing has riled me. I was just making conversation with it lol.

Also, I'd rather not concentrate or think about what's to come later lol

If its any consolation, Iheanacho and Daka were starting vs Villa so I suspect we'll go back to that pairing when we're at home.

Is Vardy actually being frozen out now? Or is Rodgers just trying different options/partnerships up top?

I actually don't mind the latter, but not at the cost of Vardy being pissed off.

We generally look better with two up front. Vardy and Iheanacho worked very well 18 months ago and at times last season.

Vardy is declining but continuing to flog him on his own isn't right.
