I actually don't mind the latter, but not at the cost of Vardy being pissed off.

I think Vardy is scrabbling around for form and it's probably right he comes off the bench for a bit. The problem is Daka without Iheanacho or another attacker close too him is still a very inconsistent and often anonymous player so dropping Vardy to play 1 up top doesn't solve this I don't think.

he's an attacker he should not need to worry about defending he offers way to much going forward and that is why we need to sack the manager, if he played a proper defense we may not have to worry about defending from the top of the pitch

Andy Gray has just said on Bien, that if we lose today, then we need to have top 4 form thereafter to survive.  Hopefully the Board are ready to pull the trigger.

Said this ages ago, a couple of games ago it was like top 7/8 form, after today it’ll probably be top 6 form. Another couple pf games and it’ll be top 4 form, which we won’t manage, regardless of the manager or the signings.

Top 4 form is like 1.8ppg, lose today and that gets us to 57 points - we’d finish higher than we did last season if we averaged top 4 form from here. Arguably you could say we need top 4 form to salvage a decent season out of this but not to avoid relegation. 
 

We’ve been pretty close to unwatchable for the best part of 18 months and even then we average about 1.25ppg which would get us to 40 points if we lose today.

 

However, it’s obvious that we’re getting worse, not better and we are undoubtedly in trouble if Rodgers stays and continues to drag the rest of the club into his pathetic sulk.

I don't think I agree with that. 39 points approx from 31 games would hardly be the form of a club aspiring for the top 4. If he loses today we must pull the trigger to kick start the season though. No messing.

That's patently untrue, though. On average you need 38 points to stay up. If we lost today that would leave us needing 37 points from 31 games ie 1.19 points per game. Over a full season that equates to 45 points which normally means a finish just below middle.

But if you think about it, that's not really true, is it! 39 points from 31 games would do and that's not 'top 4' form, is it....

In that 31 games are two against Man City.   So realistically it’s actually 29 games.

Barnes and KDH tough to leave out but with the absence of a RW I feel this system and group of players is our best shot.

 

Switch to 4-3-3 and manufacture a RW (Kel or Perez) if we’re looking crap.

I’d probably take binning tielemans and go for a 4-4-2 Maddison + ndidi CM pairing, perez on the right. If we’re gona lose we might as

well fooking go all out attack and give the fans something to cheer about, unlike second half Brighton!

We do, desperately, but at the same time losing would probably, hopefully, but more beneficial, the fact we're even in a position of discussing this is on the board.

 

There is no good result or outcome today.
