Never placed a bet before in my life yet I'm so sure of Kane and Son a scoring a brace that I've downloaded a betting app and stand to win £85! If we do by some miracle win or draw then you're welcome!

Great idea to numb the pain

I am clinging to the hope that the club have already come to the decision to part ways with Brendan after this game regardless of the result.

That they have identified his replacement and will use the international break to bring them in and press the restart button on our season.

whatever the result on Saturday, with West Ham at Everton, we will still be in the relegation places and given the international break as a bench mark in the season, and given Sven was sacked as compensation was reduced for failing to achieve a minimum performance level, I remain hopeful that Brendan’s payoff will be greatly reduced as a consequence.

I have a feeling this game will be similar to Brighton, start brightly and then fade into disarray and I actually wouldn’t be shocked to see a similar score line to the Brighton game.

This cannot continue the players look shot, the spirit has been drained from the club and the frustrations of most of us that he is still here, day by day undoing all the hard work of the last 10 years is heartbreaking for the fans.

I think tonight’s game is his last and it’s already been decided to pull the plug and give the new man the opportunity of a decent run of games to build momentum and turn the season around.

I've been wondering this too. I recall that last season Norwich sacked Farke after he had (finally) won a game and everyone was shocked by the timing. I guess it happens where it takes time to agree terms with and compensation for the new manager. The dream scenario is that we sh1thouse a win tonight, and then he's gone tomorrow.

Wow and yes it could happen. If past experience tells us anything our clubs executives are very tight lipped. Nothing gets leaked. Let’s see what happens ay!

Just once,just bloody once....

I would like to read over the encouragement & support from within.

Something from this forum that they support the club, players & team selection...

Everybody has made loud their opinions..now shut up -&  support!

Even if we still need to suffer..

The players need to play for the club!!

It's not people on here that need preaching to about supporting the players.

Playing them in a position and style they're comfortable with would be the best way to give them the support and confidence they need.

That ain't down to us popeye. One person alone has that extremely well paid responsibility.

I do hope you're right.

It's annoying as we absolutely owe these feckers one after that shit show game last season but I've got zero confidence in us right now to get anything out of this game, or any game for that matter. I've captained Kane in my ff as he always scores against us.

Here’s my blind hope.

defence coach has had a good couple of weeks to work with the team. New cb brings better stability which gives more confidence to the team and we do well.

reality

we will lose 4/5-0 and still look a shambles

According to twitter the likely line up is Ward - Castagne, Wout, Evans, Justin - Ndidi, KDH, Tielemans - Maddison, Daka, Barnes

I imagine it won’t be 4-3-3 and more like a diamond in the middle.

9 of the best 11 we can play - should have been iverson and vardy and that would have been the best 11 - still going to get smashed

My team would be:

                     Iverson

           Faes.   Evans.  Soyuncu

Castagne soumare KDH.  Thomas

                      Maddison

             Iheanacho.   Daka

Nah pretty sure it will be a 433. We practised pre season with those players in those positions, it’s Brendan’s preferred formation as well.

I really like that team tbf, hope we give it a good go.
