I wouldn't think so - 40 points is the usual aim for survival

 

If we lose today we would need 39 points from 31 games which is 1.26 points per game

 

A full 38 game season at 1.26 points per game is 48 points

 

A new manager coming in and just geting us playing mid table level and we would be fine
