It's come to the point where if it's going to be a loss(which i think most of us feel it will be) it needs to be a heavy loss to hopefully make the board sit up and smell the cofee,,,,and it pains me to say that after the last few years

Does anyone think we're capable of doing that with BR still in charge?

Not the point though is it, Andy gray is talking bollocks. If we went into top 4 form after this game we’d finish around 6th.
For what it’s worth I could see Rodgers getting 13 wins this season, but only if he swallows his pride and stops making selections and subs (or lack of them) out of spite to the board. But that’s not gonna happen I don’t think so probably not

Brendan said in his Villa presser he hasn't even thought about relegation yet. Andy Gray is saying we need top 4 form. Somewhere between the two please.

I really dislike the idea of pretending to not think about relegation. It's the exact opposite of what Ranieri did with our 40 points aim, which really doesn't bode well with how that turned out.

Also, we've seen Rodgers do it before with the conference league and we ended up in that. To say as a manager you don't know what that competition is, when us mere fans knew about it, is poor in my book.

that’s why we need to win or lose. A draw would be such a disaster of an outcome because he won’t get sacked for that.

hopefully we can find a way to win this one. I like the team other than the keeper

its not the team its the absolutely diabolical instructions and a total lack of tactical awareness. even our substitutions have a negative impact. Brendan has imploded and he has outstayed his time and football knowledge.

im not sure it does. I think they just prefer to have someone lined up, it seems they had all their eggs in potters basket.

I think we still hold aspirations and if our only option is dyche the club aren’t ready to pull the plug. i don’t agree with this at all but they aren’t completely brain dead they just understand the importance of getting the next manager right

He won’t be sacked either way.  The board has decided all hands are going down with the ship.

completely agree. But if you have talented players on the pitch there’s always the chance of something. Spurs were awful midweek, hopefully that effects them

Bournemouth ahead, it’s f**king disgraceful how far ahead of us they are.

They've had a decent start to the season considering their fixture list.

Talking of fixtures how easy has Notts' start been? Already had West Ham, Fulham and Bournemouth at home, then us and Villa up next.

It's not people on here that need preaching to about supporting the players.

Playing them in a position and style they're comfortable with would be the best way to give them the support and confidence they need.

That ain't down to us popeye. One person alone has that extremely well paid responsibility.

True nothing but the truth innit..!

FT after we go down inside the first 2 minutes.

Not really I don’t think. We’re all expecting an utter thumping, so I imagine should things fall in line with expectation we won’t see an over reaction. The Brendan thread will likely go hot.
