TeaMen Tom Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Just saw the replay of the Kane goal - not only did Castagne get beat, Richarlison right behind Kane had position on Wilf - total breakdown. 1
Swarles Barkley Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Justin didn’t even know the corner was being taken for the second. Its basic defending 1
katieakita Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 think Daka needs support, we need to go for it as we cant defend 2

But he’s not played for a bit and we need quality Been poor last few games, second half will be interesting to see if Rodgers actually changes it before anything happens.

Praet for KDH, Vardy for Daka, Perez for Barnes, Albrighton for Castagne Think we need to bring them on without taking anyone off to have a chance of getting something from the game Edited 17 September 2022 by Mike Oxlong
lee7 Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Castagne is one of our weakest links today. Made several mistakes in the first 45 minutes. Faes looks really comfortable in possession which is a massive positive.

Popular Post lgfualol Posted 17 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 17 September 2022 Daka has been fine, Barnes may as well not be playing. 6
Dahnsouff Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 The obvious move is Jannick and Dan for Wout and Jonny. Believe. 1

If we put Nacho on, there will be one less midfield player and it means the midfield needs to be a well oiled machine to move the ball forward from defence - this with Ndidi (we have seen this many times in the past) we will fail and you will then see we struggle to get out of our own half.

Sampson Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Didn’t realise they had Big Wes in the studio! Such a legend! What we’d give to have prime Wes Morgan organising this defence right now! 1
Lesterlad Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 I know we have scored 2 but they look like scoring every time they get the ball. Justin, Tielemans, Madders have done ok 1
filthyfox Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 (edited) So... so far we have no complaints against Ward. Agreed? The crossbar jobby was all his work btw- that was going in. Ps... NOT a fan Edited 17 September 2022 by filthyfox
MancFox24 Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Thought that was encouraging. Shape much better than against Brighton, good intensity and aggressive in winning the ball back. Doesn't look like a team not playing for the manager. Not Ward's biggest fan but can't understand the flack he's getting for that half, thought his distribution was good and pulled off a worldie save. 1

We are so devoid of creativity... justin and timmy are essential Edited 17 September 2022 by foxinsocks
squidsworth Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Same old same old, why can't they learn? A game we'd be running away with if we could defend a set piece. Criminal still not addressed, though maybe about to change with new coach. But generally a good performance otherwise.
RowlattsFox Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Having Maddison, Kane, Dier and Kulekevski in my fantasy team is brill though.
steveb Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Weird, like watching football through another dimension, Spurs, brilliant usually are playing like we tied all of their boots together before the kickoff. We try so hard to lose its unreal, again the defence have no idea , but Spurs keep saving us Pathetic penalty, why would anyone do this, so bad we should sign him. Then our defence, sigh they should have had 3 or 4 realistically. Somehow we managed to give them our defense and midfield and in spite of trying to pass it 100 times backwards before shooting we scored again, brilliant goal from the little one Even a save from the useless keeper who normally just thinks his job is to pick the ball out of the back of the net, to be fair he tried to give it back pointlessly dribbling in his own penalty area. Even DALI would say its SURREAL, but great fun in a bizarre way
fazzyfox Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 I fear the scene is set for Son to come on eager to impress and he will be the headline maker. So far we deserve something from this though. 1
