iancognito Posted 1 December 2024 Posted 1 December 2024 Vesty and Okoli have bad games and are dropped. Coady makes an error and is ven he'd for months. This guy cannot do anything sh1t enough to lose his place. Should have kept Nelson here and flogged this guy off to Trabzonspor or some other distant outpost. 1

Problem is that his teammates never know what he’ll do. They’ll expect at least one big mistake every game, but don’t know when it will come. That bring uncertainty. Add to that his attitude and there’s no other conclusion than he has to go. Same thing fella.
Dmitry Posted 1 December 2024 Posted 1 December 2024 If the new manager forbids him venturing more than ten yards outside the box, he may be quite useful. I think what is more important than selling Faes is getting better midfielders who don't lose the ball so much and make our defenders look worse for wear. Yes, Faes is painfully slow..
cityfanlee23 Posted 3 December 2024 Posted 3 December 2024 Someone needs to do a documentary on the "rise and fall of the Belgium national team" how is he a first-team starter? Just 10 years ago we were talking about how they were going to have a golden generation, good grief.
frany104 Posted 3 December 2024 Posted 3 December 2024 Did his best to give em one at the end didn’t he.
foxfanazer Posted 3 December 2024 Posted 3 December 2024 Can't be trusted. Needs moving on. Think he unsettles the others around him 2
Popular Post shailen Posted 3 December 2024 Popular Post Posted 3 December 2024 He's actually a good footballer in my opinion but thinks he's way better than he actually is. So casual on the ball and it's cost us. If he cuts that out than one of our best defenders. 6

Think he unsettles the others around him Nothing wrong with trying a drop of the shoulder when you’re surrounded by 4 attacking players with no one behind you to cover in a game like this. 100% prat. 11
jayfox26 Posted 3 December 2024 Posted 3 December 2024 Genuinely felt ill when he was coming on. Need 2-3 new defenders in Jan. If we can get anyone to buy him in Jan, we should snap their hand off. If there is any doubts over his commitment, attitude etc, Ruud won't stand for that.

Well, a golden generation from a population of 11 mio. doesn’t mean that they can muster two or three world class players in every position. But they did have a golden starting 11 a few years ago. It’s a shame with Faes. If he just recognized his own limitations he’d be an asset for us, I think.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 3 December 2024 Posted 3 December 2024 That move at the end will see him out of the squad let alone the starting 11 very soon. 1
Stevosevic Posted 3 December 2024 Posted 3 December 2024 Yeh I can’t be bothered with him. It seems intentional at times. Clueless
LFox99 Posted 3 December 2024 Posted 3 December 2024 Everybody on the pitch was "mucking" about with the ball but still keeping possession and playing for time. Cue Wout Faes, tries to hit a highlight reel only to dribble into 3 West Ham players and loses the ball immediately.
adejo92 Posted 3 December 2024 Posted 3 December 2024 It's got to be intentional now surely? It's like sabotage.
Lcfc-1992 Posted 3 December 2024 Posted 3 December 2024 Thought he was solid until he does what he does

For a centre-back, he is awful in the air and he can’t read the game. Can’t wait to see the back of him! 2
Bezzanator89 Posted 4 December 2024 Posted 4 December 2024 Just get rid of him in January. We, somewhat, look better without him in the backline. Hardly a rapturous reception when he came on, and West Ham scored afterwards, says it all. 2
Popular Post Larry_LCFC Posted 4 December 2024 Popular Post Posted 4 December 2024 Thought he looked incredible tonight. Then he came on the pitch. 2 10
Gamble92 Posted 4 December 2024 Posted 4 December 2024 There's a lot of truth in the mistakes being massively highlighted Vs the strengths he has. It's silly to try and pretend he doesn't have strengths to his game. He's good at playing out when he's in form and he can start a lot of positive play from the back. But his attitude has to be questioned. He clearly does think he's better than he is at times, and I don't think he's ever warmed to us as a club. He'd be off like a flash if he got any decent interest.
footballfox Posted 4 December 2024 Posted 4 December 2024 He often gives the enemies time to reset when he touches the ball.
