Never seen someone so sh** with an ego so big . Genuinely one of the most unlikeable players ever

good luck to him if he thinks he is better than the championship because he certainly is not. can’t wait for someone else’s team to witness how shite and what a c*** he really is

I don’t get how Faes seems to get more hate than Winks. Yes, he’s not great, but some of his mistakes are down to him trying to take the game to the opposition.

Winks is in his own league for me

FWIW, I despise them both equally.

I've stuck up for him in the past but he is everything wrong about our club and any manager worth their ****ing shit would never play him again.

Imagine playing like that and thinking you're getting a top club coming in for you when none of them have for the last few years.

Speak volumes when an average midfielder does a better  job at centre back than a so called international defender that’s apparently wanted all over Europe. .

For crimes against football? Good—get him in The Hague where he belongs.

Wout Faes 'nasty' injury latest as Leicester City run low on defenders for Derby County clash

Centre-back Wout Faes was substituted at half-time in Leicester City's 3-2 defeat to Sheffield United after a nasty gash to his face that required around eight stitches

Faes sustained the injury during a Sheffield United set-piece late in the first half of Saturday’s defeat and received treatment on the wound at the side of the pitch.

He went down the tunnel before the first half ended and then did not re-emerge for the second period, with midfielder Oliver Skipp filling in well alongside Jannik Vestergaard.

City are low on defenders at the moment, with Caleb Okoli out until Christmas with a knee injury and with Ben Nelson not yet back in training after an ankle injury sustained at Norwich. Harry Souttar is now back in training, but will need time to get back to match fitness after 11 months out with an Achilles tear.

Faes could recover in time to play at Pride Park next week, even if it means playing in a protective mask. Although, City boss Marti Cifuentes did say the Belgian was also suffering from dizziness.

If Vestergaard is the only fit senior centre-back, Cifuentes may have to turn to Skipp again as a ball-playing defender. Equally, he could use Hamza Choudhury, who has had a couple of games at centre-back for City before.

Bade Aluko, usually a full-back, impressed at centre-back in the summer friendlies and will be back from suspension next week.

If Cifuentes wants to go further into the academy, then Kevon Gray is one of the club’s top prospects but he’s never been in a senior matchday squad before.

“It’s a very nasty cut,” Cifuentes said in his post-match press conference. “It required a lot of stitches. It was bleeding quite a lot. He couldn’t continue.”

The manager added to BBC Radio Leicester: “He felt dizzy at half-time, so we had to sub him. But I felt Skippy did really well to play as a centre-half.”

Pretty sure he felt dizzy at kick off too.

Hope he never plays for us ever again. Theres got to be a point where the manager just draws a line and only picks players who are committed and actually see their future here.

Loan him to a Turkish club in jan with an option to buy and bring Souttar back into the fold. Get Soumare gone in Jan as well just to save 6 months wages

Do you want your CB to take the game to the opposition then? Id rather a CB was disciplined and stayed in position so he doesnt give the opposition amples of space to get in behind

Yeah I don’t mind seeing it occasionally... I want my CB to get frustrated with his team mates creating nothing and for him to dribble with the ball to try and spark something. Under Enzo it was a regular way we broke the lines and is always unexpected.

But it relies on a CM with a bit of sense to cover in case the ball gets turned over.

Get him gone in Jan. He can leave on a free for me. It's far more damaging having him in the squad. Rather just play Fran Vietes at centre back.
